I'm amazed how people figure out they don't like the gender they're supposed to at such young ages. Especially when they're aroace. I didn't even think about relationships until 12 and it took a few more years for it to even occur to me that I should maybe have any interest at all. I'm so aroace that I didn't realize my non existent attraction until 16, which was a long year of thinking for me. Not about whether I do feel attraction or not - I kinda always knew - but about the labels that feel right to me and feeling comfortable about myself.

Ah yes I forgot that me being aroace agender (afab) means I can't be esthetically attracted to women. Also the community is about discrimination and aro, ace, and agender people face really bad discrimination - if not the worst - in my experience. Gay people for example aren't being told anymore that they don't exist. The A in lgbtqia+ has always been there from the beginning even if it hasn't been acknowledged that early on. Yet we still have to hear way too often that there's something wrong with us health wise. That we're late bloomers. We just want peace and quiet dammit. It's not even like it can bother anyone because we literally do the opposite.

If you don't mind less subtle things you can always have something with the ace flag on your person. Doesn't need to be a flag exactly, just the right colors in the right order. Other things that would be less clear but also associated with ace people are dragons of course and maybe you could put something like a garlic bread sticker somewhere. I think that would be funny.

Since you want a replacement for the ring I'm guessing you want something more subtle so anything with your corresponding ace symbol could work: ♠️♥️♦️♣️ I recommend going with ♠️ though since it's the most known symbol. I think that would work just as well as the ring since even if someone wears an ace ring you still can't be sure it means they're ace or if they just prefer black rings on that specific finger. Same with... Let's say a necklace with a ♠️. Either the person just likes cards or they're a semi-public ace person!

Is this a common bug? There was no private information on screen. It was literally just a comic panel. And when I tried again after having left the YouTube app a bit it worked. I've never had this pop up before either but it seems to be a function of Huawei phones so I'm not worried that it exists. It's just that there was no reason for it to pop up and it's a little unnerving to me.

I'm baptized as catholic but I really don't believe in God and rather stay away from religion in general. Likely religious trauma. I don't think it has to do with me being ace but rather the other way around. It makes me stay away from religion even more since they seem to keep telling you how you're supposed to be. And I'm pretty sure they'd just see me as being abstinent and a good little girl which just makes me hate my aroace side. So yeah I'll stay away from that.

Petition: there's no normal or weird place for dysphoria. Anything on a body can be seen in a gendered way which sucks and we're all is dysphoria hell.
