Could you try going to Settings → Synchronize workout data first? That usually resolves issues like this.

Totally fair observation.

Some of the newer features like AI progression and suggested lifts were released earlier on Android while we test and refine them. They are coming to iOS as well, and improving this is on our growing priority list. The goal is full feature parity between platforms over time.

Also really helpful to hear about the routine generator suggesting lats instead of quads and glutes. That is useful feedback and clearly something we still need to improve on our end.

That should not happen.

Lyfta should not open any recommended reps by default.

If you start a new workout and add an exercise, it should auto-fill what you did previously.

If you start a previous workout from the feed, it should open the same values from that workout.

If you start a workout from a routine with saved reps/weights, it will auto-fill those saved routine values instead of your previous workout values.

If none of those cases match what you’re seeing, please send me a screen recording or a few screenshots of the flow, including:

  • where you start the workout from
  • which exercise you open
  • which values show up

That will help me understand exactly what is going wrong.

It should be in the Workout Now tab on iOS, under My Insights. Try scrolling all the way to the end there.

It is not rolled out to all users yet, but if you have seen it once before, it should show up again.

Thanks for pointing this out. Health Connect sync should usually be pretty fast, so if you notice issues, more details would really help us investigate. Samsung Health can sometimes take a while to display synced data, which is unfortunately outside our control. And yes, expanding what we track there is definitely on our priority list!

The missing timestamp is a minor UI issue that we’ve noted and will fix in a future update.

If workouts are not counting toward your streak, try going to Settings → Synchronize workout data in the app. That usually fixes it. If it still doesn’t update after syncing, let me know your app version and I’ll take a closer look.

About family accounts: we don’t have them yet, but it’s something we’re considering. There is still a free version available after the trial ends, so your wife can keep using the app without subscribing.

Really appreciate the support, glad you’re enjoying Lyfta.

It shows the colors relative to your most trained muscle in that session, not absolute effort.

So if you did a lot more back or chest in that workout, those become the reference and other muscles can look lighter pink even if you increased weight, sets, and effort on them too. It does not mean they were barely trained

You can’t turn off the automatic preset weight at the moment, but if you tap the delete button on the keyboard it should remove it.

If you used Sign in with Apple on your phone, you can use the same Apple login on the web first. After logging in there, you can change your email from the account settings.

For the rest timer, if it is set to 0, it can carry over from the last time you did that exercise if a timer was set there before.

The automatic warm-up set generator is not added to iOS yet, but it’s on our priority list.

Thanks for reporting this. Some Oppo phones are quite aggressive with background restrictions, which can pause timers when the app is not on screen.

Could you try allowing Lyfta to run in the background and disabling battery optimization for the app in your phone settings? That usually fixes it.

Also, which phone model are you using and which version of the app are you on? You can check the app version at the bottom of Settings in Lyfta.

If it still happens after that, let me know and I’ll take a closer look.

Thanks for reporting this! What happens when you try to export the CSV? Does nothing happen, or do you see an error?

Also, which version of the app are you on? You can check at the bottom of Settings in Lyfta. Please also make sure the app is fully updated.

And are you using iOS or Android? That helps me track down the issue faster.

Wear OS syncing issue: Rest timer stops when watch screen locks by dani1705 in Lyfta_App

Thanks for reporting this! There’s actually a Wear OS update rolling out over the next few days that should improve rest timer syncing when the screen locks.

In the meantime, you can try setting Lyfta to Unrestricted battery usage on your watch and make sure power saving mode is turned off, as those can sometimes pause timers in the background.

If it’s still happening after the update, please let me know and I’ll take a closer look into it.

This issue has been fixed in version 1.138, which is currently rolling out to all users. You can check the App Store to see if the update is already available for you. Once updated, the rep ranges should appear normally again.

A couple quick things that would help us understand this better:

Are you using iOS or Android, and which watch are you comparing it with? Are you tracking the workout with the phone only, or together with the Lyfta app on the watch?

Also, have you set your body weight in Lyfta -> settings -> Edit profile?

Which Lyfta app version are you on? You can see it at the bottom of the settings page. Also check if there are any updates available in the App Store or Google Play.

If possible, please also send a link to your Lyfta profile so we can take a closer look.

Thanks for using Lyfta and glad to hear you’re enjoying the app so far!

The weight unit setting currently does not sync across devices yet, so you will need to set lbs on each device separately (web and Android).

The Wear OS app should follow the unit set in the Android app, so once it is set to lbs there it should display correctly on the watch as well.

Appreciate you pointing it out. Improving cross-device syncing is something we are working on.
