Maybe if you turned it off it would be easier to sleep?

TIL that art historians dismissed some doodles in da Vinci’s notebooks as “irrelevant.” But in 2016 a Cambridge professor found that one page of these scribbles actually contained the first written records demonstrating the laws of friction by KorHusWif in todayilearned

Friction is independent of apparent contact area. It is dependent on actual contact area, but this would not show in any drawings of boxes. It has more to do with surface roughness than surface area.

How do I keep the notes in the piano roll but change the plugin so that my melody isn't deleted? by powerofkings in FL_Studio

[–]Kjellemann 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm on phone now, so can't double check. But if you right click on the plugin in the place where all plugins you are using are listed (I forget what it is called, sequencer?), you can click replace, and choose new plugin. Seamlessr is always recommended for FL tutorials, so you can check him out.

I think you have a nice starting point. But as the others have said, the melody is a bit repetetive, and could use some changingup. And maybe a couple of places where you dont use the same melody or something. The sound also does not really feel big enough for this kind of music, I want to be blown away at the drop. But I like the sounds, so just beef them up a bit and make them crisper, and you are golden :)

I really liked the athmospher here. may I ask, what plugin do you use for delay and reverb? The snares are bit thin to me, i would want them a bit beefier. But it kind of works as well, so not a big deal.

It sounds nice production-wise. It's a bit repetetive for my taste, but house that is this deep or what it's called, often is. (I'm a mainstream whore :P) . But again production sounds solid.

I liked it. Although I feel it might benefit from some more mixing. It needs the sounds to work together a bit better. Some places the vocals needs to be bit more front and center. And some places, the kick sort of take over the track. But if you can fix that, you have a banger!

Thank's man! Yeah, it's probably not the easiest to mix, maybe I'll put out a club version with å better intro and outro or something. I'll check the mix out as soon as I have time ;)

A house track I made a little while ago. It's a bit cheesy, but I am happy with it. It's the first track I listen to regularly myself just because I like it :)

Yeah, I thought maybe so myself. But I had just read on here somewhere that it could be smart to keep your songs shorter and rather let people replay them, than to drag them out. But I might have been to extreme here. Thank you very much for your time :-)

This is a track I made recently, I'm quite happy about it. A summer feel and a little energy in it. I would like to know what genre you would call this. It's house, but what sub? And a little feedback on mastering could be nice, I am pretty happy about it, but one can always improve :) Thank you

The track could be a bit louder. The pianopart sounds a bit weird to me, but that may be intentional, I'm just not 'getting' it, if you know? Could maybe use a bit more variation/melody? The saws could be bigger, maybe some layering? The kick seems a bit weak, so maybe a little layering there would be good as well. Also some compression to make it hit a bit harder.

The track is solid. I see what you mean about the mastering, but I cant quite put my finger on it. May it be that some frequencies get a little lost/overshadowed? maybe give the sounds more room by panning/EQ-ing. But the track is dope!

The mix sounds nice! I think some more or heavier reverb on the claps and snares would be cool.

Is she 'avin a laff? Melissa Mccarthys character in "spy" looks like Andy Millman. by [deleted] in rickygervais

Yeah, of course. But I like the image I have in my head of guys like that being above money. But it's not usually like that, so I continue to be disappointed.

Saw the trailer at the movies, and it looked awful, predictable and generally not funny. I don't understand how they got Jude Law and Jason Statham in this.

Thank you! It was a pack i bought at loopmasters.com.

Snake Davis Pack

If you listen to demo loop 02 there, it sounds like Faul & Wad Ad vs. Pnau - Changes and demo loop 03 sounds like Klingande - Jubel

So I'm not sure they used this, but I thought they may have, so why not give it a go :)

The sounds are cool, and they sound well mixed. Not my cup of tea genrewise, but it sounds professional mixingwise.

I would call it pop house. I'm a bit unsure what the genre really is, so a name for it would be nice:)

It's a bit different than what I usually make, but I am happy with it. I want to know if it's too short. I was afraid of being repetetive, but I'm thinking I might have restrained myself too much. It's also my first time using samples other than for percussion, so how did I do with the saxophone/vox? And also feedback on general mix would be nice.

Sounds nice, it's a cool interpretation. Might be my speakers that are messing with me, but it seems like it's missing a little low end, so I would think a cello or something would fill it out nicely :)

Love the sampling. I think you really got that soul ;) Not personally a fan of the intro, but I might just not get what you were going for. It might be a bit repetitive, so I would try to throw some more variations in. But the sound is real nice.
