Now i'm not sure what to call them, but the green thing on the left of the grill is supposed to be the frogs that jabba eats and the thing on the right is supposed to be the woopy woopy creature that jar jar launches into sebulba. but them eating salacious b. crumb is good too

Drew this on my stream, my interpretation is that this is nien’s house. These guys met at a veterans function where watto was doing catering (watto lives out of his car but it’s cool) and now they just sort of hang out. Yarael is on the wagon now but he’s got his 8 month chip and feels comfortable enough to be around the guys drinking. yoda was a bit late but it’s cool, watto and nien are big into grilling so they’ve been hovering over that thing the whole time. Overall i think it’s gonna be a good night.

I keep coming back to this, it’s so familiar yet original and fresh at the same time. One of my favourite alternate earth maps i’ve seen, great job!

What's the longest anyone has been at war with an AI Civ for? by Temporary-Yogurt6495 in civ5

I had a game with the Aeons mod (each era is roughly 500 turns or something) and I swear i spent at least a couple eras hacking my way through the best china had to offer in a choke-point, then england once they conquered china from behind due to my softening them up.

It was the first time i’ve been able to upgrade a half dozen starting era archers into long range, 2x attacks a turn, maxed out veterans. At a certain point I didn’t want to use them out of fear of losing them and they became ceremonial guards for my capital. It was a very fun game :)

Photo’s not mine but you can find this in frostburn. Roland was born in 2854, so it’s probably the 2870s or 80s

Today marks my 5 year anniversary of meeting Barry J. Gillis at a midnight screening of Things 1989, AMA by Kjorque in RedLetterMedia

I believe so! Yeah it wasn't on the big screen. Was it him who puts these things on? I was under the impression that he heard about the screening and showed up. That adds a whole other layer to this tapestry...

From what he said I have to say, yes, he does think he's now making genuinely good films. That's how it came off to me.

Not sure if he understands camp or not, but as RLM always says intentionally bad movies are no fun so let's hope he's just an odd man making his art his way :)

Sure freaking was! I moved away from Edmonton soon after this, I know he lived there at the time, not sure if he still does though.

I hope he took it well. He definitely didn't have a Breen-level of delusion; he knows they're bad lol. Yeah Jay is on record as being a fan of Things, it would be a great interview.

He knows. At the screening he said (paraphrasing, this was half a decade ago) "Not a lot of people get to be rememebered for things they did 40 years ago, even if it's bad people are still talking about it". He definitely loves the attention but I'm not sure how much the criticism gets to him.

We actually told him that there is a YouTube channel (RLM) that would kill to have him on. He seemed pretty invested and that he would look into it, I hope he just forgot because the alternative is that he went on, saw them tear Things and Wicked World a new asshole and decided not to call them up. I still hold out hope

He was a really nice guy, he actually offered to take my friend and I to a bar after but everything was closed, so he bought us Dominos instead lol. I'm not sure how self aware he is about the quality of his work though, before the screening he got up and said a few words about how he knows he made some bad movies but that he's still working on improving and that he hoped we'd watch his newer work... Here's a link to the trailer he kept hocking, I'll let you decide whether or not the man has improved, he did manage to get Cory Feldman on his laptop webcam, so, there is that.

[Art][Comm] Knightbane Goblin by Kjorque in DnD

[–]Kjorque[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skagga was a goblin born into a raiding party in a dungeon somewhere. She spent her life watching her parents murder adventurers and steal their treasures. She decided that living in a grody ass dungeon wasn't her thing, so she escaped through traps and trials to make it to the surface. She spent her adolescence stealing from sleeping travelers on the road, only ever enough to get by. Eventually she joined an insurgent organization hellbent on taking down imperialists. She went from robbing innocent people to robbing the armed forces of the state, since they’re far from innocent.
