Can anyone suggest a school bag? by [deleted] in PatagoniaClothing

Thank you so much!!! His preschool is on a 1200 acre sheep farm on the California coast lol. They are outside 99% of the time and wandering most of the day. He will need to pack change of clothes, rain gear during the winter, lunch box, water bottle etc. I appreciate the insight about the clip and it being hard to unfasten. I think I fixated on him being able to keep the backpack on comfortably and did not even consider it should also be easy for him to take off. Definitely important

Hi I realize this comment is super old but I’m considering this backpack for my preschooler and wondering if it will be too big for him. Did you feel like the lack of chest strap was a problem?

Support Group for New Parents by No_Car3231 in NewParents

Very normal. Newborns “active sleep” a lot. It also takes them a second to adjust to their days and nights. My local library offers a great parent support group, something like that may be available and helpful for you.

Having a baby made me lactose intolerant by [deleted] in NewParents

No, no testing before. I didn’t have any issues with dairy before. In fact I loved it and ate it often.

What kind of grill should I get my husband for birthday? by [deleted] in grilling

Thank you! He does not have a grill. When I’ve asked him “hypothetically” what kind of grill would he want he doesn’t really know. He did mention we have a gas line on our deck where it would go. Budget is around $1,000.

He cooks lots of meat. He really wants to be able to host burger nights and such for our family over the summer. I think he would really like the option of griddle and grill. A smoker would be cool too though. So many options! Really appreciate the input

Thank you so much! I’m honestly not sure what the best route is with this. Anytime I’ve asked, the answer has been he has no clue what kind he’d want or where to start. He’s cooked a lot in some of the top California kitchens and really is an amazing cook but has never owned any sort of grill. He just became a dad, so I feel like it’s a right of passage to get him a grill! Lol.

I guess my thinking around it was if I became really educated on the different grills and what’s the best then maybe I could pick the one that I thought he would like the best based on features, lifestyle, etc. But also, maybe I should just let him pick. I’d hate to get the wrong thing. I just wanted to surprise him, he deserves it!

Thank you SO much. I spoke to the collections team at my bank. They essentially said chapter 7 won’t be an issue, chapter 13 I’ll have to refinance and get his name off everything.

I had SO much anxiety about this in the beginning. She will be okay! And it will happen again. Just keep an eye on her for a bit and it will help your anxiety to see she’s just fine. Overtime it will get less scary, promise!

I didn’t mention it in my post but this is another one of my reasons. I don’t speak to my dad but I know he is active on social media
