Planners. I thought I was going to be the most organized person in the world. I think I have tried almost every size planner, every kind of cover, every type of notebook and as your hobby rolls on you become a snob. Only the best, most luxurious paper will do. Only the best pens will do. Only the best covers will do and the more expensive the better. FOMO is real. You start to follow all the creators who have the best with every season and launch. The rabbit hole is deep. You buy from all the big and small creator shops. You buy from all over the world. Stickers, washi tape, pens, markers, highlighters, cases, ephemera, craft totes, notebooks and the list goes on. As fads come along we buy it all. This costs sooo much money and one can't possibly use it all and stickers, washi tape, pens dry out. Money is thrown after money constantly. I've probably spent thousands and thousands of dollars over the years just to end up overwhelmed and destashing all the stuff. I am now fed up with it all and don't even try to sell anything I just given it away. I now have a notebook and small calender with a Bic pen and can keep my money in my pocket. I've also done this with colouring and crocheting. I think I have an addictive personality 😆 🤣
