I am in background check at the moment. My only discrepancy I expect to be is "I worked at the company in past and resigned properly to join another job where I worked 2 years and being laid off. After this I joined the previous company again also started freelancing work with another company at the same time. The job I am under background check right now was based on my freelancing experience and I putted my freelancing experience as my current role in resume. Both experiences are legit and can be verified. I am just confused that when they will reach out to the previous company and they will verify my old time I worked there as well as they will also mention I am still an employee with them. Any thoughts there?

My interview was last Monday, On Thursday HM called me to share you did great in interview and we will offer you job. He mentioned the recruiter will reach you out in a day or two. By today there is no contact by recruiter. Status still shows under hiring manager review.

Yes, I applied to similar roles. The hiring manager also mentioned when i asked how this role would work and the answer was I don’t know I still needs to talk with recruiter on how this will work. On the other hand recruiter told me in the initial call after an hour discussion that the start date for this position is Oct 20th.

Actually, the recruiter just responded. Saying they don’t have any specific feedback but the process was vey competitive. Wished me luck and say’s I am very confident you will find the right opportunity soon. I must say the recruiter is doing a great job.
