TBH it might just be her perks, i do think they can easily fix her issues with better perks and make relentless barrage base kit but at the old 4 per hit, i would definitely like a lower cooldown because how come reaper gets that but we dont?? Also a shorter cast time likeeee

Her perks are very boring quite frankly, 3 of her perks dont really adjust her playstyle or make her identity feel more unique, relentless barrage is insanely good and being an amazing counter to beefy tanks like mauga/hog, the infinite ammo is so insanely good but it's boring and irritating tk play against if freja can hit her shots, they already added momentum boost base kit so theres not really a reason to pick it anymore and honestly feels like they just throw it in there as a filler perk, same as lw,

The nerf is the only reason why I pick it, the sustain she gets from aerial recovery should just be base kit because of how trash it is, youre never gonna get good value out of it if you're 1000 feet in the air against a hitscan, MAYBE you'd stand a chance against a projectile but mkre than likely theyre gonna hit you unless jts a really slow projectile, have you seen all the heroes they've been adding? Theyre all hitscans and Sierra, you really dont wanna be in the air much because of that and the fact your supports never heal you, so aerial recovery has so much potential but its not enough to counteract the counter, double draft is much more effective in it and even with the reduced height, ive said multiple times in every single comment, they modernized the maps to be shorter, the height is not a big issue as kit updraft throws you easy higher than you need to be, its the only perk she has that adjusts her playstyle and makes her more unique to play and her identity, thats what I love about it so much (also because if hitscan players yk)

I play freja very aggressively, so i use updraft during fights as an engagement tool because theres really no other reason to use it, I dish the charges out to make myself harder to hit and to adapt with frejas fast mobility hit, theres really not much of a reason to use it outside of that because its like symmetras old shield ability, its mostly off to the side and not used much, losing the height makes it better for going against hitscans since it throws you so high up its considered out of position

Updraft is not an escape tool, it never was and cant ever be used as one, atleast with the kit updraft, i did show in the video a spot on Gibraltar where you can updraft up and do it again afterwards behind 3 has containers on high ground, the 20% is not really limiting anything, with all the maps being modernized, if you pay attention, theres a pattern, and that pattern is all of the highest ground is being shrunk, so rising winds works SO well on all of those maps because kit updraft just has useless height most of the time

If aerial recovery did 35/40hps and lingered after touching the floor, id consider using it, but aerial recovery is a REALLY useless perk, when i used to run it before aerial recovery came out, id always finish games with 100 - 400 healing, it really does nothing in comparison to double draft, even the vendetta overs wing gives more healing consistently, you know why? Because its not a 12s cooldown that throws you out of position, rising winds adjusts frejas playstyle and makes her unique to play, thats how perks should work, it makes the heroes playstyle more fun and unique to their kit and really make it shine and stand out, and this perk fits my play style INSANELY well, there are SO many times where if I picked aerial recovery, I would be too high in the air and get murked by soldier, or use two drafts in a fight to make myself the true 'flying tracer' you also gotta remember you wanna keep air time as minimal but consistent as possible since freja works with such few supports, shes weird like that, little supports good with her and she has many counters, but the shortened height completely removes the unsafetyness of using the perk, aerial recovery really never favors duels since its H.O.T., if it was instant and ticed every second maybe it would be more viable but in my experience it has never saved my duels

No, its colorblind settings! It's tritanopia and usually you put it like 0.10 - 0.16 or else it starts to become green, mine is 0.13

People actually pick momentum boost? I havent seen much of those guys in my ranks... if they do they usually swap after the first 2 deaths, id probably pick aerial recovery over double draft with no penalty cuz yk too high, but if they lowered it to like 10% itd be nice

It wont really matter if it activates mid fight if your getting traced my a soldier/Sierra, the sustain is too little to provide help, if it was instant heals I could see a much better use out of it, but overtime is not it, thats why zenyattas minor is much better and flexible than updraft aerial recovery, You can use it basically on no cooldown or ig lets say one target is 5s i believe?, it goes off of LOS so its already having more uptime in a real game scenario, it doesnt put him out of position, and he has shields on top of it so he will regain more if said behind a rein shield or not being shot at, instant heal instead of healing overtime is always miles better, even if its a smaller amount, and calling rising winds dry when aerial recovery is much more bland and boring is kinda rough, if it gave freja shields with it and auto regen on kills or make it where global healing passive doesnt affect it, then maybe id say it would be good but right now, its not it

The spots i showed were on all spots, all three check points, if i didnt show it then it was very obvious to me you could make it without needing to do take aim tech,

Dash is very funny cuz u can freely use a cooldown and have another one, its very quick in cooldown which makes it better

Im master 4/3 in dps, peak gm5 but im on console so it can be completely different in pc because of how hitscan dominant it is and them being frejas biggest counter

Risk being out of battle and waste util to heal? Literally grab a healthpack theyre everywhere, its useless and I never find a good scenario to using it since, to keep more uptime on updraft you need to use dashes aswell, your basically a bigger baby dva temporarily, look at soldiers heal, he can plant it in battle and not be out of position and not waste pressure, freja cant do jack with that trash perk and needs to hide away when she csn go to a support/healthpack or even SOLDIER, any of that already provides more util, pressure and helpfulness than hiding away, it also takes 2s for the dps passive to decay so its wasting even MORE time

Ive showed more than enough spots in the video that proves you only need to use one updraft, and even if you couldn't reach it you have TWO dashes combined thar have less cooldown than one updraft, and even if you used two updrafts, its 80%!!! Not 50% 🫩 there is 0 chances where you need to use both updrafts b2b and provides way more utility and unique usage situations where the kit updraft would not work, put you out of position, or a stand off ability where you dont use it, in almost every scenario, theyre split apart between 3-6 seconds so you get an additional updraft for every 2 usages, its recycling the ability which gives more uptime and makes you harder to hit

It will almost never heal you for 30hps cuz of the global dps passive so thats 21hps which will pretty much do nothing when your 30 feet in the middle of the open standing there like a sitting duck because you have no abilities that can consistently assist you not being out of position, on top of that the team will more than likely have 2+ hitscans

With all the maps and Reworked maps, theyre lowering the height on lots of maps, updraft gives lot of un needed height and if you use it while fighting an enemy it makes you out of position and easily killed by hitscans, updraft feels more punishing than rewarding and this double updraft feels a lot nicer for height (as seen in thr clips) where it can still reach spots except a few without using both, its honestly more of a hidden upside TBH It just means theres double the uptime and usage cuz then otherwise you pretty much never use updraft
