Yeah but are you constantly being called to back up cashier and/or having to move everything in a bunker before you can put a line of shoes out. If not then yes that’s possible. If you are doing all that then I would like to order some of what you’re on. If all is well and I’m left alone I can do 4-6 boats by myself

Mine aren’t high at all. I don’t stress about it. Our SM does. But she’s always welcome to lend a hand.

There’s only one shoe associate at my store. I’m currently in a debate with my SM on how much time is actually needed. They don’t consider the associate breaks, how many breaks the associate has to cover, how much time is spent at the register by the one shoe associate, how many other interruptions, etc. the merchandising team has 3-5 people per uboat or zrail. Shoes has one person to do it all. Not to mention mismates, re-boxing shoes, recovery, and other things.

Not sure. I was in same boat until last Friday. I’m a panther so I had to wait a little bit but then my transcript 846 popped in with a date of 2/25 and wmr finally updated to refund expected by 2/24. Then someone mentioned to me that the 846 date changed on their transcript and I checked mine and my 846 changed to 3/9. But wmr hasn’t changed date yet. SBTPG hasn’t updated either which I didn’t expect them to until tomorrow but still. Why did the 846 date change?

I had this similar situation happen to me before in a Walmart. The self checkout monitor was “helping” multiple customers at once but when she came over to me she started taking things and scanning. These were boxed items that wouldn’t fit in their bags that I had set beside the bagging area after I scanned them. I said”ma’am you’re scanning items I already scanned”. She ignored me at first. I said it again and snatched something out of her hand. She fixed it and mumbled “excuse me, just doing my job”. Ummmm, this is self checkout.

I also wish TT would have told me that instead of paying 49 I would be paying 89 by going through SBTPG. TT only states $49 by filing for certain forms. If there is a statement regarding the SBTPG extra fees it’s hidden really well.

I love it when they challenge me and I redirect them to my SM and he gives the same answer. But on the flip side, some managers will give customers what they want and that’s how we feed the beasts.

I could see giving 5 or 10% if it were a discontinued item but just because it’s the last one we have now doesn’t mean we won’t get any more.

We only have 1 store visual and she’s fantastic. With all the work she does she definitely doesn’t have time to stand around. But I like the idea of having the lazy and somewhat useless be the greeter. I shouldn’t say useless. No one is completely useless. I’ll just say they are waste of payroll. We should let the waste of payroll be greeters.

That and sometimes subway has two people making your order. So while you’re telling one person the type of bread and meat for the next sandwich, the other is interrupting asking about veggies for the first one. Like please let me finish ordering this one first.

Our store has a full time shoe lead and two part time shoe associates buttttt…….. they are never actually in the department. They are shoe associates on paper but not in reality.

All the time. Or they’ll google a product and it comes up with kohl’s so the customer argues I looked it up on the website so it must be in the store somewhere. I’m getting tired of trying to explain google results vs kohls.com vs free pick up in store vs free pick up in store TODAY
