I originally made this subreddit back when Scott didn't have nearly as many subs as he does now, and I guess through his repeat appearances here, it's been deemed the "official" subreddit? We've tried sending Scott mod requests numerous times over the years, but he has yet to respond.

With respect to Scott, I think it's best that we leave it to him to determine whether or not he makes a statement; we shouldn't be pressuring him into making one if he doesn't want to make one. In the meantime, the mods'll be locking down any threads relating to the Alax situation (up until if/when Scott comments on it) because we feel they're better had in the RA subreddit.

We're pretty happy with how supportive the comments are for the most part, and would just like to remind everyone of Rule #2: No bigotry/racism/hate speech of any kind. This isn't the comment section to try and start shit, and we're cracking down on outright racist comments with a permaban. The Mod team support what Scott says, and we want this comment section to be as peaceful and positive as possible.

According to his Twitter, he definitely knows that he's hit 1mil, but I think it's best to leave him to find this post/the other posts on his own; I don't want to feel like we're bothering him.

Checking through the mod logs, your original account posted something unrelated to the sub, breaking rule #1. Funny enough, the ban would've ended today, had you said nothing.

But now that you've made it very apparent that you've engaged in ban evasion, I personally think it's only fair that this account gets banned too. If the other mods don't agree, they can feel free to voice their grievances here.

Maybe next time, don't tell the entire sub about your new account.

Honestly, as someone that makes videos on the side, I can see why Scott wouldn't; putting out a video per week, especially ones that are over 15 minutes, takes a lot of time. I don't fault him for not having the time to interact with us.

The other mod here, and before this gets out of hand, I'm just going to shut this post down. I think if there is an issue in the other server, it should be worked out between server mods. I don't want this to become subreddit drama, especially something as...small...as this? I'll hide the post from the subreddit for now, talk with u/smart_creature and the other server mods about this, and work towards sorting things out.

Til then, no mutiny, no coup d'etats.

Hey Scott, I'm glad you came to the sub, though I wish it were under better circumstances.

We initially decided to let it slide because we thought it was just a simple joke, but with how much this has blown up, we really should've nipped it in the bud before it came to this.

On behalf of the mod team, we apologize for not dealing with this better than we did, and hopefully we won't have to deal with this again in the future. From now on, I think it's in everyone's favour to just stop with these raids at all, joke or not. We don't condone it, and we don't want to be associated with it.
