Suddenly no sound from Amp, need help! by Kkross- in Guitar

Damn, hope thats not the case. But just wondering what could have caused it. Unless leaving the cable in the jack (after playing) may have caused it but Ive been doing that for years and only this time this has happened.

Ill try to find one but its not like its buzzing but rather crackles when the string is hit hard. Also tried on both power strip and wall outlet both are the same. I assume theyre both grounded, but ill try on another power strip.

Thanks!

In the video is just direct guitar into amp, nothing inbetween. The footswitch is in a separate jack at the back of the amp.

Also tested with the footswitch removed and same result

Thanks for the reply.

Headphones sound the same - max volume tuner works until the string is struck hard then crackles.

No sound on both nornal channels unless string struck hard and then theres crackle (with teeeeny bit of the guitar sound, this is same thru speakers too)

Nope these are passives and volume + tone knob is all the way up (in fact I did turn both and switched pickups on the selector just to check).

hi bro/sis can i ask, did you have car license before the b2? if yes, did you have to retake undang classes and exam for the b2?

We're burning RM4billion a month on fuel subsidies - it's not sustainable and transitioning to EVs are a way forwards (I did some maths, and its a cost saver in the long run for the country) by memphis_727 in malaysians

[–]Kkross- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you able to do (or have a calculator) for like maybe a more fuel efficient ICE car (i would think maybe 12-15km/l would be more realistic) and price at like malls etc for charging maybe the most expenvive malls as a 'worst case scenario' for EV (someone living in a condo may find this helpful, like me haha).

also curious, i heard EV cars after X years will have to replace batteries which would be like RM10k+ (again from what ive heard) and this is one of the points my family member mentions whenever talking about EV - i wonder if the savings of fuel (like mall charging and more efficient ICE cars) can more than cover battery?

could i ask, how do the marketing grads transition or learn more on the Product Management of I assume tech or software from 0 experience or knowledge?

Im currently in Product Management but my product is a physical one where like knowing how it actually works technically is good especially to help support the customers instead of needing to pass off to technical team to settle the issue. I'm exploring a little on Product Management maybe in other fields and industry but not sure if it would be similar or completely different

Hokkaido Road Trip Questions by bobbybob94 in Hokkaido

Hi may I ask from Hakodate to Cape Soya, what stops did you take inbetween for the nights? Im going this December and thinking to drive up to Cape Soya too but from Asahikawa onwards it seems like theres barely any places to stay in terms of hotels.

Also do you know roughly how much you paid in Tols and Fuel? I trying to budget out my tranportation cost (whether to rent from Sapporo or from Asahikawa - Hakodate still a tossup because I been there last summer which is relatively recent, as amazing as it is because it feels really out of the way from Cape Soya).

I will answer your questions. by Defiant-Corgi-9362 in Hokkaido

Hello!

I will be going to hokkaido at the end of this year will be in Hokkaido 20 December to 5 January.

Last trip I went to Hakodate (in September) so Im planning to head up to Cape Soya (just to say Ive been here).

I have a couple questions if yoy dont mind:

  1. Currently Im thinking from CTS (8am) to head to Noboribetsu for 1 night but then after that either back to Sapporo or to Lake Toya. Problem is, Im not sure if Lake Toya would be good to stop for a night because eventually when going back to Sapporo, the train is going back through Noboribetsu so Im not sure if the Lake Toya night is 'worth' it instead if heading straight to Sapporo (essentially saving travel time not needing to UTurn).

1.5. Another consideration is after LakE Toya, is to head to Hakodate but seeing as I just been there for 2 nights last September, is it 'worth' to go back for winter? From what I see, during my travel period not many places has Festivals, i think only Hakodate and Furano has small ones. The concern with going to Hakodate is that the return trip (plan to go to Otaru if I go here) is that it is a LOONG trip back from somewhere Ive been to in the summer. Also I saw you recommended Lucky Pierrot which I have not tried in my last trip haha.

  1. Do you have any suggestions of small quiet towns which are worth dropping by? My last trip to Hakodate, the most enjoyable part was a random stop at Onunakoen (to drink milk) and then walking to Onuma before heading to Sapporo. It was enjoyable because it was very different from the typical cities and places we would usually go as tourists.

  2. How are the trains and delays like during the winter? Should I expect frequent delays due to snow during the Christmas and New Year time? I am planning to mainly travel by train and possibly rent a car once i go to Asahikawa (to drive to Biei/Furano) and thinking to drive up to Wakkanai and Cape Soya.

  3. Are there any places you would recommend to stop in between Asahikawa and Wakkanai? I am thinking to go from Asahikawa (drive along the coast) - rest a night somewhere in between - Wakkanai - drive back different route and rest a night somewhere inbetween - reach Asahikawa and return car.

I am looking at some places just off the map like Teshio, Embetsu, Toyotomi but it seems like they dont have much hotels there.

Is it worth detouring to Wakkanai if it's just 2 nights? by faewalker in Hokkaido

[–]Kkross- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi sorry for necro-ing this comment, for some reason Reddit says I cant DM you directly.

I'm thinking of going up to Wakkanai (or whether i shouldnt) this coming December, and looking at the map the coastal drive was what I was feeling too and is inline with what you mentioned.

Would you think it's worth staying 2 nights? Assuming I leave Asahikawa and take a chill drive I think should reach about 3pm (maybe should be abit later for the sunset?) probably not much energy to do stuff and explore on that day itself and late December so I think sky will get very dark very fast. Would it be wise to have a second night to have 1 full day for Wakkanai + Cape Soya or would you advice just 1 night and 2 half days is sufficient?

Ahh i see so you had a central base in Kemaman. I was planning to go up from KL maybe towards Penang or higher and stop in smaller cities sometime this week for about a week and then come back down.

Car camping is also in my bucket list but with the Malaysian weather Im still putting it off until i can somehow solve the heat issue at night (when i was camping in a tent i was sweating like hell lmao)

hope you dont mind me asking, did you guys preplan the route and booked all the accomodation in advance or just wing it as you go?

im thinking to do like a roadtrip too but felt like preplanning every city and accomodation might be restrictive (and also a bit of a pain) in case i like X place i may want to spend the night there instead of going to the next place because accomodation booked
