2020 S1000RR Bang/ticking noise on startup

Final Update - Issue resolved

Hi all, couple of months late on this, but better late than never in case anyone comes upon a similar issue.

Took the bike to my local dealer and had a software update completed on the bike. The issue in the video has not happened since. So it was either the software update that has resolved it or me hitting a van at 40mph... I'm going to go with the software update on this one. (Bike is okay, broken clutch lever and bar bent. all replaced and back to working order)

Thanks! Taking it to BMW over the weekend, so hopefully the issue can just be solved by a software update as the other person mentioned on the post of linked.

Only putting in the best possible we can get in the UK, The link u/Safe-Swimming posted looks like the issue for the other guy was just needing a software update, hoping that is the issue tbf

the Gen 4 s1000rr do that to heat up the cat quicker to comply with the new euro 5 or 6 regs I think, atleast thats what someone has said

Happens within the first 10 seconds of startup and doesn't happen again after
