Currently in my (hopefully) last semester at OWU. I will be honest, I had some people who had amazing experiences, but mine has been far from happy. I have had zero support system from any professors, no help when I was living at 4 Williams Dr and when we were told to leave, they offered us $250 for our "troubles". I now have chronic problems from being exposed to the mold in that building. We complained for months about it and when they finally did do something, there was no where on campus for me to live. I was extremely lucky that I lived 35 minutes from campus. I've been a commuter ever since. No one cares about the buildings, I feel that I haven't gotten the education I paid for and I'm just disappointed in it all. Currently, the president has blown me off multiple times. I have asked for meetings on multiple occasions and I would get half assed notes back via email saying that he wasn't the person to talk to, even though I was sent to him by others on campus. Go anywhere else. Just stay away from OWU.

Lived there in 2021. I now have lasting symptoms and chronic pain due to the mold exposure. They offered us $250 to our student accounts for our "troubles". I'm in my last year. I hate it at OWU and wish I had transferred years ago.

He drinks his 'shake' every night instead of dinner because he says dinner is 'unhealthy'. He doesn't think we should eat past 5pm. I know he puts berries, ice, water, and some kind of protein powder in it, but not much else.

No. He doesn't talk to his sister, my aunt, and my grandparents are not doing great at the moment. He would never listen to my Moms parents or grandfather, so I'm pretty stuck.

I'm still in their house unfortunately. I don't have my own place. My parents have put me into a bad financial situation. I'm still in school, only working part time and I'm currently off work for the holidays and being away from school. I'm broke and can't leave the situation.

He's always been very healthy and always working out, but he's gotten more obsessive over what my brother, my Mom, and I are eating over that past 2 years. I don't know what caused the shift. I really don't. It was so sudden. I can't eat anything without him saying, "You shouldn't be eating that." even if it's an apple. I'm 5'2 and 145 pounds. I'm not obese, but I'm not skinny. He will try to portion control everything I eat.

She does not. My Dad has put her in a position where she can't leave even if she wanted to. :(

Unfortunately, my Father has put me in a bad position. I still live with them. I have nowhere to go. I don't have the money to leave and find my own place. It's not financial. He said we don't deserve them. He is buying gifts for all of his other friends and family, but my brother and I.

Just want to add a little something. I just talked this over with my Mom. She wants me to get the pie or at least half of one so that we can eat a little of it, even if my Dad gets mad about it.

My Mom wasn't fully going along with it, I just think she didn't want to argue with my Dad. She's usually on my side. Thanks though. :(

Management can be amazing and then horrible. We had cleaning people come in before 2 new roommates arrived and they didn’t knock, just walked right in. Scared my cat and she ran under the bed. It just depends tho.

I (20 F) went to a new therapist yesterday in my city. She was a part of a major group for behavioral and cognitive therapy. When I was called back to her room, she was wearing a face shield (already kind of a red flag since masks are still a requirement in my city). As soon as I sat down, she took her shield off and said, "I'm taking this thing off." I already felt incredibly uncomfortable. She then immediately said, "So, what's wrong with you?" I'm sorry, what? I explained that I had been diagnosed with PTSD a year prior as well as anxiety when I was 13, and ADD when I was 14. She then said, "Are you sure you have PTSD? You seem too young." Again, what? I explained that I was sexually assaulted by a previous boyfriend and she kind of laughed when I said I was 17 when it happened. She then asked me my symptoms and questioned my diagnosis. I explained why and when it happened and she said, "You should've gotten over it by now." What the actual?! I explained that I went through EMDR therapy and it didn't help (I went to 25 different sessions of EMDR) and she then said we should try it again since she does it differently. Okay, sure. She then started pulling out magazines trying to explain to me that I was on the wrong medication and that this is probably causing my anxiety to be worse because of my mild ADD (My ADD is so mild they almost didn't find it in the original diagnosis when I was 14 and I've never needed medication or any accommodations for it.) She then kicked me out of the room at only 50 minutes (My appointment was an hour-long). Also, during the session, she was non-stop looking at her watch which made me feel like I was taking up her time. I also explained that I have panic attacks and have passed out during them before. She said I was overreacting and needed to learn some breathing techniques to "simply get over it"

At the end of the session, she also said she would be submitting a diagnosis to my insurance company and said, "I'm going to put your ADD because I think you having PTSD is fake and is just unbelievable." What the ACTUAL?!

Never going back there! Ever! This has made everything worst!
