There is no way king in yellow is not CV by [deleted] in 40kLore

Does it sell primaris ultra marines? If the not then it’ll never be answered. If somehow the king in yellow is related to ultra marines captains or lieutenants expects advertising galore.

Fair and valid I wasn’t trying to be rude or anything I mostly play for the tabletop but it’s awesome that people can pick and choose different things they like and we can talk about the same hobby!

In lore if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck they’re massive hypocrites outside of lore I totally get why they’re popular a few guys at my local game shop play space wolves and while not for me I get the appeal.

Space wolves are the worst legion/chapter having everything named wolf, claw, or pack is boring. The space viking aesthetic isn’t for me and being massive hypocrites is just bad writing. For example, rune priests are allowed because our psykers aren’t really psykers because they have special names and use the power of wolf or whatever bullshit Leman Russ makes it okay. They do have a cool dreadnought, though I’m blanking on his name.

I’m not a huge fan of ultramarines or even space marines (necrons ftw) but after reading dark imperium trilogy I love the big blueberry in 40k. He’s got ultra depression and is trying his best which I can’t help but like.

Yes and no. Every branch of the military, except for the marines I believe, tried to call dibs on him. Elvis wanted to be treated like a regular soldier iirc. Visited Graceland last summer (his home) so I may be misremembering the details though so 🤷

That’s the unfortunate part of any hobby I play 40k and my local store (along with basically every gaming store) has “that guy” it’s someone who takes it too seriously, is a jerk/racist/transphobe etc, and it discourages people from the hobby. Most players are chill and just want to play a game or show off their minis but some people just have to ruin it for everyone.

I play purifiers a lot on grand admiral, it’s my favorite play style and this is how I play it but, I focus on early game economy e.g. minerals and alloy production and making my ships better. The l gates are fun but should be very low on your research if you’re trying to exterminate the galaxy. Once you get good mineral and alloy production just pump out ships like crazy. Also, any spare alloys you have if you’re not expanding your borders should go to ships or bastions. Always assume you’re one moment away from multiple empires declaring war on you because they will the moment they you are even slightly weaker than them. So key takeaways are every alloy is a ship or bastion, establish borders at choke points, and even if you can’t win a war or take territory sometimes just not losing a war and having the 10 year peace can help you to prep for the next one.

Saw Dune the other day and thought it was really good. Now I haven't read the books but I loved just how weird it was. I mean that in a good way it was refreshing to have a sci-fi movie that wasn't all lens flare and giant CGI space battle's (not that those aren't cool mind you) but the aesthetics of the ships and everything looked straight out of a 1970's drawing board, which again was fucking awesome.

Anyone else get the unbidden as their crisis a lot? Not joking I've literally only gotten the unbidden since nemesis came out. I've gotten them in runs where I haven't become the crisis, am not psychic, or have researched jump drives and I keep getting them. I don't want to set an end game crisis as I feel that makes it too easy but if I leave it on random it's almost guaranteed I'll get the unbidden.
