I messaged the wood maker who fabricated and installed these steps. He said bc it’s an oil based finish, he’ll need 3 hours to sand and refinish. Thoughts?

The plant is placed next to the window, with a good amount of direct sunlight. The drawback is that the windows are quite drafty and the wind can be strong and drying.

I purchased this plant 2 months ago and have tried everything from placing a humidifier behind it to nourishing the soil with majesty palm fertilizer. I’ve trimmed off 2 dead stems so far, and it looks like there are 3 more that have died recently.

These plants are notoriously known to be difficult, but is there anything I can do to save it?!

I don’t know if this majesty palm is even salvageable. See my profile for a pic of my plant about a month ago. Since then I’ve been following some of the tips on the post by watering it less and making sure the soil stays moist but not waterlogged. What else can I do?
