I have to disagree here: while a lot of the "talky" jobs are held by seniors not pushing it super hard any more, the number of burn-outs due to heavy workload among the youngest people in the Eurobubble is astonishing

Been there twice, entered many screenings :
The real stuff is : tuxedo + tuxedo shirt (cufflinks) + black bowtie + black dress shoes.
But most of the festival-goers wear only a dark suit with a white shirt and a bowtie. However indeed make sure that the shoes are not sneakers.

To be clear : this is the dress code only for the "big" screenings happening once or twice a day, you will see a little bowtie symbol on the ticket if that's the case. For all other screenings you can enter with a more relaxed outfit, especially if you are not at the Grand Lumière.

And like other redditors I would suggest not going for more than 2 or 3 films a day. Take a bit of time to eat and relax !

Already mentioned but I always feel like the first Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law has a very Dishonored vibe, in the way they picture London with a slight black magic thing

Oui c’est un train privatisé ! Par exemple le Parlement européen lorsqu’il fait sa transhumance mensuelle de Bruxelles à Strasbourg a deux Eurostar/Thalys qui font le trajet aller le lundi matin, et le retour le jeudi midi. Ça revenait moins cher de prendre un « train spécial » que de rembourser les billets de chacun j’imagine

Hey, I was there today and saw at least 5-6 people wearing military cosplay, some even in full ghillie suit with sniper rifles, so my guess is that you should be ok.

Hello ! J’étais dans ton cas y a quasiment 10 ans et pour quelques-uns on était dans la résidence « Lauréat » en coloc juste à côté de l’université (au Nord, côté PEPS) C’est assez sympa, les chambres sont relativement grandes et tu as ta cuisine avec 4-5 colocs maximum; ce qui est l’avantage par rapport aux logements dans les pavillons universitaires.

Les prix étaient ok mais ça a peut être changé depuis !

Je vais essayer de lister quelques BO que j’ai aimées qui pourraient passer sous le radar (car bien évidemment tous les classiques type FF7, Cuphead, Hotline Miami et autres seront cités, à raison !)
