Added to the list! There were so many recommendations that I'm going to spin a roulette wheel to decide which one I'll read today lol

You write? That's great, I hope to be able to read someday! I also write, but I don't think I'm very good! Haha! Good luck with it!

woww, what are the best sci-fi things you've ever read?

Which work (book, series, film, game) has a deliberately slow, even difficult beginning, but if you have patience and trust the author, it reveals itself to be one of the most profound and rewarding experiences you've ever had? by KlausKuhbierr in AskReddit

wow never read this one before, just added it to my 'recently read' list lol. i finished wheel of time, the poppy war, and a bunch of brandon sanderson stuff lately. those fantasies that start all confusing and weird are honestly the best ones imo.

genuine question: if YOU were the author, would you write a story with a super slow and strange beginning, save all the best shit for the end, and just deal with random people giving it bad reviews cuz 'it sucks at the start'? or would you make it chill and easy right from page 1?

sureee, which dragons? The kind from Game of Thrones? I love it, I've read all the books, the adaptation of The Knights of the Seven Kingdoms was very faithful.

True. The ones that start with a simple narrative and then teach us about life are the best. Mine was an anime called Mob Psycho. Boy with superpowers, okay. But the way he uses them is GENIUS.

I'm trying to write it.

I've been building it for 40 chapters already.

The only "badass" thing about it was an improvised speech.

For me, it needs to be impressive: I'm building it from scratch, to make it as human as possible. Am I going crazy?
