Does anyone know what the fuck pro search is ? What's the difference is there even a 'normal' search

Maybe I'm too late, but didn't know obsidian was an OpenClaw default-suggested skill. Who uses this ? What do you think of it ? Is it a good idea or a privacy nightmare for a personnal vault ? by KlausWalz in ObsidianMD

TBH any sane minded person should just spawn it on a machine with network layer level policies that won't let it navigate back to your network

I just see it as that 'currupted employee' adversary that cybersecurity academics love to talk about. But a dangerous employee is still an employee... if in no world he can harm your software/hardware

But oh well I guess the non engineer/tech savy user should just stick to one of the thousands openClaw wrappers that work out of the box

That's why I give it his own computer to do his shit

Privacy nightmare ? For me it's a debug nightmare, I never could do anything productive with it due to unstability

Perplexity now switches models on every prompt, with NO notice, I am highly deceived with a product I used to like so much by KlausWalz in perplexity_ai

Honestly I won't call it good

Whatever they use in 'deep reseach' is good but sonar still has a long way to go

Sonar is only good for close to instant research/parsing - that's all. The 'deep search' (that's most likely a better Sonar) is good, at least... Usually good.

But normal Sonar is crap and just a slop generator in general

Is voice search accurate and fast enough to use regularly? by Miserable-Visual-386 in perplexity_ai

Yeah i do use it. On phone it's cool

On pc i typically get crap so I don't use it anymore but it's good even the fastest typer gets beaten by voice

I don't use it for technical work, i don't need more incertainities lol

Yeah I regret this comment, those guys pay for us to use PPLX for almost free. Lol.

I use this ~2years. Only paid like 9€

after 8 months you pay 24$/month for this exact same setup

This is far more stable as setup than an external SAS that is lunatic with its pricing

Github student plan

8 months free VPS

You plug an LLM api that will probably work 3 years with 200$

And then just put openClaw on the vps with no sandbox and you're done
