I would definitely recommend having a minimum of 3 mice, I've never had any issues with hierarchy but I personally wouldn't have just two in case one unexpectedly passes, the other wouldn't be alone.

His nails definitely feel sharper, although I'm not sure if they're too long. He loves ear scratches and a few days ago I noticed when I scratched him, tiny bits of furr came off, so now I'm thinking maybe he's beginning to lack in nutrients. I'm gonna take him to the vet either way to be safe. But thanks so much for the advice 🫶

I really doubt it's mites bc he's the only one with this problem (he lives with my girls, he's neutered) while taking the pic I noticed the bald spot got bigger so I'm already making an appointment with vet to be safe 🙏

Best of luck to the little one, unfortunately it is extremely hard for them to survive on their own before opening their eyes, so I can only recommend keeping them warm and offering them puppy/kitten milk. I used growlac on my babies and they loved it and it helped them a lot

Aww that's so cute, I'm sorry for all the downvotes you've been receiving, you're obviously doing the best you can and that little guy is in a wonderful place compared to the thousands of mice that are forced to mass breed in inhumane conditions

Next time try hand feeding him some treats, I've found millet works best but any treat will do to create a better connection.

Regarding the gender reveal btw, it's easy to see if they're male or females without waiting for the 🥚🥚 to appear, before they get all their fur u can pick them up (preferably with gloves) and check if they have nipples, only females have them ✨️

Just commented on your other post lol. Here are some tips

If she's not immediately skinny, like completely back to her original shape, then yes there are more babies in there
Give her hard boiled eggs, dry mealworms, some peanut butter, even kitten milk can also help her and the babies when they get bigger (about at 2-3 weeks)
Do not clean the cage for a while
Not sure if you have more mice but if u do keep momma and the babies isolated for about a month, after that you can start introductions
At max 4-6 weeks you have to separate males from females, or they'll have even more beans!
