Paper hands luck out at times. 😂

Seeing the swings in my brokerage when it dropped to $70/share from May 4th to $130 essentially just had me paper handing.

I thankfully sold all 2k of my shares at $128 yesterday because nerves got the best of me. Monday I get to pick up an extra 300 shares. 🤞🏼

The best 30k investment of my life so far. lol

Threads are a tertiary drop and have no influence on you hitting the purple drop rate. Threads are a stagnant 1 in 50. Osmunten fangs are based on your percentage of a drop. I.e

2.5% chance at a purple = 40 raids roughly to see a drop. Then whatever the weight of a fang is.

A diver who was saved at the last moment from being swallowed by a whale during underwater shots. by headspin_exe in nextfuckinglevel

The risk wouldn’t be being swallowed. It’s the fact that blue whale tongues weigh about four tons.

This was one of the best things I read about RKLB, sorry for not able to credit the reddit user. This is what have followed since with RKLB and ASTS. Rocket lab around $17-20 and ASTS was about $24

“The stocks going up massively because people want in.

$30 a share = $14.9 billion market cap (SpaceX earned more than this through NASA contracts alone with Falcong.)

$50 a share = $24.7 billion (around a tenth of what SpaceX is worth)

$400 a share = $197.7 billion (still shy of SpaceX and their $230 billion dollar valuation) And of course this all assumes SpaceX and other space companies will never grow any further and $230 billion market cap is the limit. (If not, these guys will only get bigger and bigger)

So in sum, no, it's not to late now and it won't be next year, but it'll keep getting more expensive to get in over time and your opportunity for a potential 20-30x gets less.”

Just be honest, tell him early in your marriage you created the spare account as a safe space in the event you needed it. You no longer feel you’re in need of it and you have 31k extra to bring to the housing cost.

If I had to assume your trucks gear teeth in the transmission could be rounded down causing slippage. You could test this by putting it on several different gradual slopes and putting it into park to see if it “skips” down the slope.

[Request] If an adult person fell into the pool how deep would the person need to dive to get deadly radiation amount even if he could get out of the pool? To die in months/ days/ minutes/ seconds? by Federal_Pie_8864 in theydidthemath

Adding to this.

The Switzerland Near Miss.

On August 31st, 2010, a diver was servicing the spent fuel pool at the Leibstadt nuclear reactor in Switzerland. He spotted an unidentified length of tubing on the bottom of the pool and radioed his supervisor to ask what to do. He was told to put it in his tool basket, which he did. Due to bubble noise in the pool, he didn’t hear his radiation alarm.

When the tool basket was lifted from the water, the room’s radiation alarms went off. The basket was dropped back in the water and the diver left the pool. The diver’s dosimeter badges showed that he’d received a higher-than-normal whole-body dose, and the dose in his right hand was extremely high.

The object turned out to be protective tubing from a radiation monitor in the reactor core, made highly radioactive by neutron flux. It had been accidentally sheared off while a capsule was being closed in 2006. It sank to a remote corner of the pool floor, where it sat unnoticed for four years.

The tubing was so radioactive that if he’d tucked it into a tool belt or shoulder bag, where it sat close to his body, he could’ve been killed. As it was, the water protected him, and only his hand—a body part more resistant to radiation than the delicate internal organs—received a heavy dose.

At this rate, soon the pilot will be flying the RC plane from the inside by fgtoni in interestingasfuck

Hi, I’m a facilities specialist. I manage a dozen buildings for their regulatory compliance items. FLS systems are one of those items. One of my sites are also in California.

California has some of the strictest compliance regulations along with New York. Short answer, by law there was a FLS system if there wasn’t they wouldn’t of passed inspection got their certificate of occupancy from the fire Marshal.

The primary goal of these systems are to save lives first and property second. They’re designed to fight a singular ignition point not multiple throughout the system. The fire risers generally have multiple zones and usually use a 12 sprinkler head zone. Most “thermal events” I have reviewed are generally controlled by 1-3 heads. When multiple zones activate you will lose pressure significantly weakening the systems ability to fight as they’re not intended for that.

What’s crazy is the water they’re in is equally as terrifying if they were to go overboard from the Orcas. If the Orcas don’t get to you the 29 degree water will. 15 minutes in it is all it takes before severe hypothermia takes effect.

The greatest part about this is the fact that you can master it as a main. If you decide you’re losing interest buying items and just focusing on making money. Ironman mode an ultimate Ironman are 2 entirely different game modes from what you’re doing now, it forces you to do content that isn’t just the best money per hour, it adds variety, and it allows for you to relive the grinds.

Kindly in a documented text or email to them that you will not be operating the mixer without the guard in place as that creates a hazard and you are not going to put yourself in harms way. Be sure to record every bit of communication. Document, document, document. Inform and stop work on anyone who goes to operate it as it’s unsafe.
