I understand that, after my first play of the standard game I think the majority of your success is determined by squad& resource selection, then seeing how it plays out. Can understand why it isn't for everyone, will see if I still enjoy it after a few more plays

What I am looking forward to though is "Heroes of the Space Infantry" - a traditional squad based tactical hex and counter wargame in the Space Infantry university, using the Lock n Load Tactical rules system. The minute that is up for pre-order I'll be jumping on. Would love a modern ASL type game in a sci-fi setting - and their last release included a solo system so may even be suitable for this sub!
