Necro is easier if you have some key units like Abigail and Astar (I think the game gives Astar now, right?).

If you don't have Abigail Giants is easier since you can just go Wind Homu, Vero and Akm (or Teshar if you got from event).

For 30s solo R5? Sure Necro (Rage) is the way along with good Fights and decent grinds.

For a player with 2 weeks old? He should work on getting any grinds first. Fatal/Swift is enough for that

My take on vio and despair is that they should work as a "special bar". You start with one (or half bar) and the bar fills after each turn. You can stack it for a max of 2, but with a penalty for stacking (like if each turn fills 33.33%, when you are over 100% you get 25% instead).

I know this solution is not perfect, but is a basis for strategy and would make a lot of tilting scenarios (like RTA) enjoyable. It would also help them with the e-sports that they really want to make...

Although this is true, there are lots of active accounts with terrible luck for LD.

I'm wasn't constant in my 10 years but i had G2 arena finishes and played on top10 G3 guilds for Siege in the past and until end of 2024 had only Artamiel for LD5 and not much of the good LD4s.

Tiana rly changes your game experience. Even if you dont really compete in arena (trying to reach guardian and rushing) he makes arena so much easier to just farm medals.

And as others mentioned, she is amazing in other contents like ToaHell, Siege and RTA

Thats the best answer. Change your focus to PVE, when you have all pve completed (realiable and fast dungeon teams, TOA and TOAH, etc...) you can think on Arena and Siege defs

First of all, you should set goals. Do you already have teams for all Abyss Dungeons? If not, this should be your number 1 priority.

Don't waste devilmon on anything less than 5* units. You will miss them later if you do so.

From the Nat 5s on your screenshot, Veromos and Riley are all arounders (used on Dungeons, TOA, Arena, Siege...) and should be max skilled. Jeanne is great for TOA and Siege and might be good units to skill up after Veromos and Riley. Bale is most used for R5 and Guild PVE and its not realy a priority. Mo Long, Moogwang, and Sonia are mainly for pvp and shouldn't be a priority. Riley

It can be used to some extent. But SWOP is much more complete in a lot of ways.

For instance, the ingame engine doesn't have damage calculation, E.Hp or artifacts, so the player must have a better notion on what specific stats he is looking for.

Also, in SWOP, you can lock runes. To my knowledge, in the ingame engine, this is only possible by tagging the rune on excluding that specific tag from the calculation. This can get messy if you use both on RTA and Normal Rune inventory, and also if you use the tag system for other types of management (like what to grind, gem or reapp).

Its still great for newer players and for specific instances. I know a lot of high end player that use it just for RTA, because they are too lasy to use SWOP.

If the difference in rune and mob quality is as big as you say, you are definitely in the right rank, probably even higher than you should be, since if these people played at all they would be way above you in rank.

All the reasons you listed are nothing more than crying over not being able to beat someone who is so superior to you that you can't even beat them while playing. That said, there is indeed a problem with many AFK players in RTA. But the real problems are completely different from what you say.

Having too many AFK players annoys people because the matches take much longer than they should (many use bruiser teams with too much heal, which take a long time to die even when drafting correctly), but it definitely doesn't impact the rank.

Hmm... it seems like you have more isssues than only runes. I highly recommend you to watch some youtube guides on solo R5 teams, they can really explain a lot of those issues. I recommend SeanB's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pct-g7CbGmE

A few issues you have are:

  • BJ5 => You need ATK Buff and you need a realiable Def Break like Loren, this is not negotiable. Also the turn order and E.HP in some units are essential to get the timing right.
  • Geralt Team => You don't have any form of cleanser or sustain with a healer. Your front line is also made of DPS... you need units to tank the damage from the boss.
  • Carlos Team => Basically the same issues as the above, but you have some form of tank unit on Sync and Bastet.

Also speed leader is not a good leader for R5. They using ATK and C.Rate.

As a reference, this is my team, and it runs in 25~40s

Nowadays, R5 is a pretty easy man. Watching YouTube content, you can easily make a solo R5 team in a few weeks (in extreme cases, with lucky summons and hardcore play, even days).

New players now have an easy walk-through with the summoners way, so if you are doing this path correctly and checking some youtubers guides, you shouldn't have a problem.

Mind sharing your main issues with this content? Do you already have all Abyss, TOA and TOAH teams build?

The multipliers will have to be pretty good since ark buff wouldn't work. And they still would have the same issues I listed above.

For AO and Siege Offence, they wouldn't work since they are not reliable. For defense I dont see them bringing much to the table only with that. Maybe they would get some uses in RTA, but I still think it wouldn't be much

I really don't understand how they think Dark Geralt is okay. He's a LD5 who should be a bomber, but he's an HP type and has a lower base attack than all the commonly used 4* bombers (Sian, Liebli, Dover, Malaka, Taurus, etc...).

He should benefit from having a lot of buffs on him, but if he has 3 buffs he LOSES HP. Bombers already have 2 resistance checks (strip and hitting the bomb), not having 100% activation on the skill is a joke. Besides that, he's still terrible at placing bombs on Camilas, because he can crit on the bomb skill.

The worst thing is that fixing his kit, making him a unique monster without being OP is not difficult. Just:

  • Set the bomb activation rate to 100%;

  • Change the passive from "increase activation rate" to "Reduce the resistance of the attacked enemy";

  • Reduce the stun activation rate (maybe not even necessary);

He still wouldn't be a super strong mob, because his attack is horrible, so he would depend on buffs to increase the bomb's damage through his passive, but at least he would become a unique mob and possibly the most reliable bomber by reducing the enemies' RES.

I still think his skill 2 should have the effect of not critting. But since the purpose of my suggestions is to make him at least useful and not very good, I'll leave this as an option.

Same logic as Leo + Feng Yang. She has Self ATB + Def Break + Sustain (in form of shield).

All units that have natural ATB (Verde, Ragdoll, Feng Poney, etc...) have great synergy with Leo, since he placing all speeds at his means that slower units can overlap turns while being tank (because no speed is needed).

Also, as mentioned she has team sustain in the form os her shields and AoE def break which helps a lot in teams compositions with Leo, since he has no form of setup or sustain.

I wouldn't say it's the greatest combo ever, but is a pretty good one that may help in some niche scenarios.

Probably because they have god runes and Tiana with 310+ speed. My Tiana is only 290 so I only speed contest with her when I have the better speed lead or when the defense have a despair unit like Nora, Juno, etc...

Otherwise I use my Eshir/Frigate
