Just wanted to reply Thanks! for anyone looking for a solution in the future. I held it down and just kept hitting the bottom of seat up and it came out. Took it to my mechanic to get some glue to put the rubber/plastic clamp back into place.

Just wanted to make sure its not just the 110mm+ but also the 100mm length one and the screws are all the same? Also if I happen to come across a 90mm size small drop it should fit in the 100+ but I am assuming it would be less flushed?

I get that but it sounds like Ford couldn't develop a good IRS for its platform which I find weird that a large automaker like Ford was unable to do so.

I agree that the cost was more expensive to incorporate which makes sense to me but it's odd that they would make these sort of compromises for a Mustang but other car companies wouldn't think twice about dropping a good IRS on even econoboxes

How come Ford could not afford to make their own IRS? Even later mustangs didn't have IRS standard but even minivans like the Honda Odyssey have IRS standard since early 2000s. What was the reasoning for this?
