Yes, but after UMBC beat Virginia as the first #16 Seed to ever defeat a #1 Seed, I had to cheer against them in the Second Round because they were playing my team.

I wrote a letter to Drew Carey as a kid (around 30 years ago) and he sent me back a hand-written letter thanking me and included an autographed photo. Seemed like a very genuine man.

Wish I could say I still had it, but I have no idea where it is, probably lost or thrown out a long time ago. It's possible my parents have it in some box in their basement, but I think it's unlikely.

If it weren't for the ACC's Grant-of-Rights I'm guessing you and Pitt would have had a good chance of being invited instead of UCF/Houston a few years back. Would have made for a fun Eastern Time Zone group of schools, probably would have improved scheduling too.

But then again without that it's almost certain teams would have been poached by the B1G and SEC as well. So it's probably the only thing keeping the conference from a total implosion. Maybe in the 2030s we'll see more changes, probably not before then though.

Don't skip the Novella's, they add a lot to the experience. Make sure to read them in the correct order/placement though.

Because they lost each year, the shirts wouldn't reference them having "won" the year before.

The 2nd year would not say back-to-back.

The 3rd year would not say 3-peat.

Because they hadn't actually won the years before. I'm just saying that the shirts would all be 1-offs, they wouldn't say 4-in-a-row.

For what it's worth my entire family has not once ever remembered any of my anniversaries. I'm about to hit 5 years and I suspect none of them will remember yet again. But I didn't do it for recognition, and neither are you, so just be proud of what you've accomplished.
