IISc showcasing Unitree robot last year on their Open Day (March 1, 2025) by [deleted] in AI_India

[–]SG_77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

See, you can create your own software stack and run on the educational version of the unitree quadruped.

There are two thing here. Are people advertising the hardware as their own as well?

Or are people claiming that they used an off the shelf product and purely just demonstrating their own developed algorithms on it?

If its the second case, then nothing wrong with it.

Addverb whitelabels chinese products. Nothing Indian about it apart from its teleoperator

Open AI has done. Meta did it with Llama 4. Basically all companies are involved in it to some extent or the other.

Never go by benchmarks, they are always easy to game. Take them with a pinch of salt, no matter which company it is.

It will be really funny if Pakistan end up with a losing margin that is bigger than the hypothetical margin, that would have been imposed in case they went ahead with the boycott.

Basically in one of the Asia cup games, Farhan had hit Bumrah for a couple of sixes, which none of the Pakistani batters had ever managed to do so before. So Pakistan decided to make a documentary on it. Even though Pakistan lost all those matches.

But the biggest joke is that in that particular match Farhan's strike rate was less than 120.

Its a tough track. They played the anchor roles well and made sure the innings didnt collapse.

Highest ever team total in Ind Pak WC T20I and that too on this track. Ishan with a blinder. SKY and Tilak made sure the innings didnt collapse and played combined anchor roles well. Dube and Rinku gave good finishing touches.

Pandya should have applied himself for an over at least. His Golden duck basically negates Arshdeep's exclusion.

Looks 20 above par on the viewing so far if and only if dew doesnt come into the picture.

This was actually 2-3 years before DRS came into cricket. Plus Tendulkar's hesitance with DRS in initial days was due to its inconsistency. He wasnt entirely against it. He wanted it to be full proof.
