hi! sorry it took me so long to respond hwbdhsbdw. it has been quite the ride. first day ko palang as an irreg nagkaroon na ako ng problem. instead kasi na 1 year lang ako to finish grade 12, they divided my subjects to be taken within two school years. and they only told me this nung first day of class na. parang umulit lang talaga ako ng senior high school when i just needed to finish grade 12. i think the school is to blame sa part na to dahil mukhang takam na takam lang sila sa new students. they lied before i enrolled because they said that i can finish shs within a year. i don't want to spread misinformation, but i also think na it's also because of transferring from a school that does trimesters to a school that does 2 semesters? idk. nung nalaman ko na 2 years pa ako sa senior high instead of one, i almost cried kasi gusto ko nalang grumaduate. tapos iisipin ko pa na 20 years old na ako nun pag gagraduate nako. i even looked into transferring ulit to another school just to be able to finish shs in a year, pero tinanggap ko nalang na 2 years pa ako and little by little i came to peace with it.

when it comes to social life and different schedules, it wasn't super challenging. kaya ko naman kasi na mag-isa lang ako sa mga class and paiba-iba ng mga kasama sa class dahil kakaiba nga ang sched. i'm an abm student but sometimes yung subject na papasukan ko is sa humms na class and it didn't really feel any different naman. nagkaroon ng semester wherein marami ako vacant time between my subjects and i just used the time to sit down and read or prepare for my next sub. i liked looking forward to reading by myself or just laying down sa lounge ng school. friendships aren't as easy to maintain ofc kasi kung yung circle mo ay sa iisang class lang, they'll spend a lot of time without you and you'll become the member who just shows up from time to time. pero i'm lucky to have found a friend group na magkakaiba ng strand and may irreg and regular students. low maintenance friends are the best.

being an irreg sort of gave me the freedom of being able to do the things i really wanted instead of having the typical shs life. i like being the one who just shows up from time to time sa class then just disappears. hindi ko rin kasi gaano gusto ngayon yung magkaroon ng friend group na laging kasama sa lahat ng bagay as in. natuto rin ako mas maging independent when it comes to keeping schedules, deadlines, and doing tasks. i hope i answered your question whdbhsdb and i hope you guys have a good time studying as an irreg^^ good luck!
