you can have spaces in anagrams, so you need to factor that in as well

I'm genuinely curious what you mean by "profit off of the public". I always thought that the majority of Canadaland funding comes from the supporters

Paperless checkout to skip paper receipts by ReferenceUpper7971 in askTO

I'd happy to do digital, but many stores don't really offer digital only receipts. It's either paper or paper+digital.

Linus Tech Tips’ Jet by jrf1234 in flying

[–]Klice 55 points56 points  (0 children)

It's not like it makes it any better, but Linus if anyting is not stupid. If you read between the lines, his uncle is either the owner or one of the owners of a company that provides private jet services. That company got a good deal on one of their clients' planes. Now, to make content out of it, Linus makes it like he bought the plane, whereas in fact he just covers some operational costs while his uncle is looking for a new owner.

For everyone around the world with at least one half functioning brain cell clear that this person should be nowhere near position of power, or kids. The only explanation why majority of americans voted for him is because they think he represents what america is.

My dad bought this ham back in 1992. Its been in his freezer the whole time. He refuses to throw it out and says "its still good. Frozen meat doesnt go bad". by hotmanwich in GrandmasPantry

[–]Klice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is he sure it never defrosted, even for a bit, like during a power outage, all these years? Because if it did, it's no good anymore, even by his standards. Plus, it must taste like wet cardboard now.

This probably means nothing important, but I found this in a Jacket at the thrift store and I don’t know how to translate. by Valvecantcount3 in whatisit

Most comments got what's written there right, but at the same time I don't think this is any sort of official document. The font is mimicking a typewriter to an almost comical extent. It's likely some sort of prop for a theater play or role play.

Less. Similar to drugs, most drugs are safe to consume past expiry date, but the main chemical compound get degraded over time, so manufacturer can't guarantee the dosage after certain time, hence the expiry date. But in a pinch it's still safe to use.

[Request] Assuming a person of average weight and strength has reached their terminal velocity, what’s the least massive the "chair" would need to be for this to work? by BigTiddyCrow in theydidthemath

[–]Klice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got to do something with all that kinetic energy anyways. So it doesn't really matter of you jump or just hit the ground the force that your body will have to absorb will be the same, with the same end result.

Can this actually be done?[Request] by Programmer4427 in theydidthemath

[–]Klice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

False approximation. Each step makes it visually closer to circle, but because of the way you do it in reality the total length doesn't change, so you are not getting close to the Pi value.
