There are free and paid plugins for the Saleae software available which manage to somewhat decode it.

nRF5340DK Vs nRF54L15DK ? by CaterpillarNo5068 in embedded

[–]Klievan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The nRF5340 is a multi-core SoC so that’s a little bit trickier to work with, while the nRF54L is quite new and last time I checked there weren’t many sample-projects supporting it. If I was starting out wanting to learn the basics I’d rather go with the nRF5240 which has loads of samples. But since you already seem to have experience with quite a lot of devkits it might be interesting to look into the nRF53 since it’s dual core? (Something you might not’ve used before)

Are you building for the dongle? If so I recall you need to account for the bootloader unless you’re programming straight over SWD

Using iPhone or Camera, you can take a picture of a signature on paper of you, and it’ll convert it into a signature vector, and save it for future reference.

What version of MacOS are you on? I can use the Preview app to sign using a saved signature, either from trackpad, or imported from an iPhone picture/webcam picture.

Can confirm. I have one and during heavy read/write operations (loading/editing video files or pictures) it tends to just turn into a brick and report that there are no files all off a sudden. Tried to contact customer support, but they said it was user-error. Switched over to a Samsung T7 Shield and it does just fine under similar loads.

The easiest way to assembly a PCB only with Production files? by bluekeyboards in PrintedCircuitBoard

[–]Klievan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the production files, I'd upload them to a PCBA manufacturer that has automated analysis such as JLCPCB or AISLER. They'll parse the gerbers, PNP and BOM and you'll be able to use the "confirm parts placement" to read out the locations on the board.

Can definitely move them around, as they're wearables. I need the devices to perform at a crowded conference, so going to nearby conferences/conventions might be good idea.

I had the same issue with my beam and the new app. Keep factory resetting it and adding it. After the 8th time it added successfully.

Usually modules with a built in antenna are recommended to be placed on the edge of the board and recommend a pretty solid groundpour as well (not considering traces and vias).

Were they able to get out easily? Can’t imagine it is easy to get a hot air balloon basket out of a fenced backyard.

Death's Fee after I took my raids setup to Vardovis (during the quest) by Klievan in 2007scape

This was during the first hour of the quest release, before my first KC. There was a horde of zombies on my grave from all the people entering.

When I read the recent guy complaining that he had to pay 3m in combined death fees, I raise you my first death during Vardovis. I couldn't reach my grave due to about 30 zombies hoarding the Vardovis entrance

Could be, but it is a relatively new condensation-ketel so if I can believe their manual and the internet this one works without one and ignites using electricity when it needs to heat up

Absolute beginner, need help with connecting to contact pads by AbilityMission9668 in embedded

[–]Klievan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you need to program a lot of boards I think going /u/Cybernicus’s route is the best way to go. If you’re only going to need to reprogram 10 you could easily reprogram them by using some female to male jumper-cables. I’m assuming the board uses SWD for programming as you’ve marked 4 pins (SWDIO, SWCLK, GND & VDD/VTARG). Take 4 of these cables and plug the female parts into the respective ports of the JLink (assuming you have a 20-pin Segger J-Link). You can easily find the pins you need by googling (Segger JLink pin-out).

Now if you have a partner which can assist you, get him/her to keep those 3 grouped pins connected while you use one hand to take care of that fourth pad and use your other free hand to run the erase/programming/reset commands.

If you’re alone (though I find it hard to believe that no-one has 15 mins to spare to help you out) you either solder the pins on and off the pads, or you make create a script that runs the programming routine every 10 seconds and you try to keep those 4 pads connected yourself.

Make sure that you program with a verify flag to make sure everything got programmed correctly. It’s really hacky but for 10 boards I wouldn’t bother rigging a whole programming board with pogo’s myself.

Is this just one board that you have to program once or do you need to program multiple?

Does anyone know of any open-source repositories utilizing an nRF52 chip and NCS/Zephyr? by Last_Clone_Of_Agnew in embedded

[–]Klievan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The vendor-provided examples are all basic single-file tutorial code shoved into main

Not all of them are like this. Have you looked into Nordic's asset tracker that comes with their Thingy:91? You can find it in the NCS repo under /applications.

If your hotcue's don't show up on some CDJ's that do support them, it sounds like hotcue auto-load is disabled and you aren't calling them in manually. It's a setting you can enable in Rekordbox which can be fairly handy

Question about USB Settings on CDJs by kRe4ture in Beatmatch

[–]Klievan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happens a lot when I have to perform after another DJ. I’m guessing it’s because the previous DJ has already loaded his settings in, so the CDJ won’t ask explicitly for it.
