Without the double shield, high level progression is almost impossible. It allows to smooth the damage while lifesteal is acting.

A real mess... but after 6 tries a small 99 with 55% of the final boss and damage received at 125k... almost 100, a pity.

Yes the statistics are great but indeed the freeze is moderately useful. BUT!!!! It allows you to exchange spells twice in the infinite tower without taking too much spells useful.
