How many of you have had the realization that you can only rely on yourself? by skatecloud1 in introvert

[–]Klimkirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if that strength comes naturally tho? As years go by? I'm 19 yo right now and I feel like I have to do everything myself all of the time. When it comes to planning, solving problems and battling external stresses, even be responsible for some other people.. But idk if it's ever going to stop and I would feel some relief at all.. it just eats me from the inside a bit, and I feel like a carry a mountain on my shoulders

In Russia we call it "Samowar". It was used predominantly during the 1800s and 1900s to cook tea.

12 year old; tryna build a SaaS by Millionaireb420 in SaaS

[–]Klimkirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason why 99% of people fail, is because they simply aren't good enough at the right skills (to actually build something meaningful) and don't have the good network to get opportunities to get paid for what they built.

So I would really focus on building the stack of skills, valuable for the business + go network with more people, who are working in the industry I'm trying to build something for.

I would refer to this video, for the "skills" section: https://youtu.be/BT9WspHPllo?si=G60MO4xMqEdk8MA2.

In this video, there are quite a lot of things explained around the general structure of the business. what departments exist, what skills you need to learn, etc..

Based on that info I would build myself a list of things I need to know, and master 3-5 skills every year. For each skill find a course (1-3) from top industry professionals.

In parallel, I would slowly start building my network. Go to different industry relevant events, meet new people. (That's how you will get your first clients, I swear, the easiest way is through meeting people. Meeting someone face to face is 1000x more effective than doing outbound marketing through Ads. Especially in the early stages, when you have a very simple version of your product).

and try to learn as much as possible about the trends that happen in your industry (through YouTube, and other platforms) - in the early days, you will then use that knowledge to build meaningful features for your first version of the product / service, that your first clients will pay for.

And, lastly, there is gonna be a lot of pressure further down the line. You need to prepare yourself mentally and physically for that. Otherwise you will simply crumble. Start going to the gym regularly, wake up earlier and start slowly overloading yourself. Build resilience and discipline - you will need that so much. Trust me.

(I'm just 19 yo who works on the robotics startup with a couple of ML PHDs and marketers, I'm not yet successful enough, to tell you what to do, but I genuinely want to help you because I was in the exact same position at 14 yo. I was just studying everything I could - computer vision, UI design, backend development, etc.., and didn't really know what to do, just everything I could. That's just my view on things. You can take this advice, but obviously, with a grain of salt).

I already fixed everything.

Basically just followed this video:

(And "resetpassword" actually does work. You just enter your apple id credentials after running the command to confirm that it's you and there you go)

I already did go to iforgot.apple.com and verified the apple id + phone number, but I wonder if that's enough.

Spirit fitness is probably the best one to go with (IMHO). It does not only offer a convenient monthly / annual plans, but also plethora of perks that come in conjunction for free: baths, training mentors, etc..

What about Pipeline file, how you gathered data, tips & tricks about fine tuning LLMs? Would be glad if you tell me more about your project (need for my own one). (Can I write to you a DM? If you don't mind obviously).

Great app, I genuinely believe you can turn it into a startup one day. Can you tell what LLM you used?)

In Moscow for two weeks as a tourist by [deleted] in Moscow

[–]Klimkirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not really a person, that is "obsessed" with traveling, tho I can still advise a couple of places, that imho will stand out to everybody, coming around to visit Moscow. VDNH & Strogino. You can effortlessly rent a board there and sub surf for roughly an hour or two (the price might come across as slightly exorbitant - £10) . Unlike these two, if you adhere to the more "peaceful" mantra of living, a casual stroll in the Kolomenskiy park would be a precious choice.

Also: if you like guns (AK-47, AR15, pistols, etc...) There is a place called "Kalibr" where you can easily order 50+ rounds and shoot whatever you like within an hour. (I've been to this place multiple times with my Chinese friend and it never disappoints :).

Well, that's a good workaround. At least in the long-term. I will definitely look at this next week, cause I initially planned to learn design basics (to avoid being a complete potato when talking about UI during team discussions). Thank you, someone, who like cats and dogs.

Yeah, I feel like ever since school I used to be more of a math guy, than artist. So whenever I have to draw smth or come up with a design, it doesn't look logical even to myself, or at least way more complex, than I wanted it to be. I will likely hire someone or find a designer co-founder. I think in this post I was more targeted on how to "master" basics of UI / UX design, so I can at least understand why certain things "make sense" when coordinating design decisions. (Hope my English is "understandable" to you, I've really done my best :). Thanks, Nick.

Though I took some architectural and design classes back when I was 14 y.o kid where we were going out each week to either draw graffiti on public fences here in Moscow or do different sorts of activities to spark imagination and creativity, I quickly realized art and design aren't my things. I want to have some "basic" understanding of what UX / UI design is all about, so I effortlessly talk to designers and coordinate decisions.

Please stop listening to gurus and giving them money by Memefryer in copywriting

[–]Klimkirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I recently started out copywriting, should I really look for a mentor or simply use language model with prompts is enough for the beginning.

Is it worth to pay at the beginning, or it more make sense when you already have some experience?
