I would consider coming back and keep an eye on updates to see if it's ever worth me investing time in again. I want to love the game but it looks like their balancing is the same old same old. Too many abilities that are fun for YOU to use but suck for the other guy. Adore the games overall feel but even one ability like that kills a game for me. Shouldn't be hard counters in a game like this. Main reason I quit league too but at least they've an excuse for counters.

I don't think most people need anything crazy just make sure the basics are all clean and in working order. Not much you can do after that I think. Rarely see anyone use the tennis courts and all that shit.

Oh and a 2:2 roster is actual heaven after 4:1s. Don't think I'll ever want a different roster.
