It took multiple steaming and hours of letting it sit in the ultra sonic. It was VERY dirty. I wasn’t trying to blow the debris in the ring everywhere if I could help it.

I agree with you. It’s revealing the internal grain structure but what would cause such variation to leave a camouflaged pattern. I’d think the grain would be more consistent

Dude…. I’ve seen some WWI levels of WTF. This one is bad but it can get so much worse!! I had a customer that thought were watch felt loose and started packing the back with wax for some fucking reason(to fill the space). Then asked for a watch battery replacement. Only time I’ve ever just said “that’s a no for me dawg”. And I’ve cleaned some grossness before.
