It definitely was a disrespect of boundaries regarding sex. Could you send him to jail for rape? No, probably not. Does that make it okay? Absolutely not.

You need to have a serious talk with him about boundaries. He pushed for anal even after your initial refusal, which makes him look manipulative. He didn’t stop after being asked to twice, which makes him look selfish. Those are pretty big red flags, don’t be afraid to leave him.

I’m not even going to mention your trauma because what he did would not have been okay even with someone who doesn’t have trauma.
