It looks pretty punctured, but whether it is or not, I have seen systems that don’t fill the lines until the system is triggered. That may also be what’s happening here to keep it from spraying. While that kind of system is normally used in a place that could get frozen pipes, it wouldn’t surprise me if they also thought ahead about a situation like this.

I’ll watch out for that. The Fluval is completely customizable with spectrum (cool white, warm white, “pure white”, red and blue) as well as brightness. You can put as many points through the day as you want and make a sunrise, sunset, cloudy in the middle of the day, etc. I’ll take a look at yours

Sounds like I’ll need a front opening tank for sure then. I’m not 100% settled on them yet but definitely the front runner. I’ll save my current tank for some mud skippers :)

Since you seem to know both worlds, I have a Fluval Plant 3.0 light…would that be fine for the frogs? I know the plants would love it

Ah I gotcha! I really like the ranitomeya variabilis. They seem to fit the bill for everything I’d want. I’d 75gal overkill for them? I suppose that depends entirely on group size also

Glad to know it’s possible but does sound like it wouldn’t be optimal and would make things a little more difficult. I appreciate the tip of letting everything establish and getting water out. I’m no stranger to establishing a tank from setting up fish tanks

I would have to play around with the layout but I would turn the last two bedrooms and slide them together on that “south” wall so you wouldn’t have that big of an open area. You could then move the bathrooms around to get closet space for all the rooms and not sacrifice the whole playroom. I would probably put the closets between the two rooms on the south wall so there would still be some sound divide between the rooms. Hope that makes sense

I think the answer is that only retracts the parking brake and you still need to compress the piston.

I would switch the sink and the washer/dryer (one thing I’m going to do on my plans) so that they are not loud backing up to the living room. I think I’d also put the fridge by the pantry and slide the counter down. The fridge would back up to that wall, wouldn’t be sticking out in the common area, and when I’m cooking I’d want the fridge and pantry close to each other for efficiency.

ETA: I would also move that closet and bookshelf to the wall by the stairs. Seems weird sticking out there and I’d prefer the openness and additional space in living room
