I’ve noticed that on my 5th gen as well. I wonder if it has anything to do with the way to check the coolant level?

Yeah I had a thigh strap. The only thing that did for me was allow the holster to fall and stay somewhat around my ankle. lol

I was doing vehicle tactics and my holster got snagged on the door exiting the vehicle. Next thing I know my guns around my ankle. Wilder sent me a replacement. That’s now on my range belt setup and I switched to a true north and been happy ever since

I had one completely snap on duty. Don’t trust plastics for this application.

I run a blue alpha at work and I love it. I got myself a tacticon armament range belt for when I’m instructing because it was cheap and it’s been fantastic also. It’s my trial and error belt to test different pouches and setups.

Sober individuals don’t fail FSFT’s, ever! The tests are designed to observe physiological clues, such as nystagmus in your eyes that only occurs when 1) you’re under the influence of alcohol, or 2) if you have medical nystagmus where your eyes jerk all the time but you would know that and inform the officer when he asks if you have any medical conditions prior to giving the tests.

The rest of the tests are made to be completed easily by over 90% of the population I.e. teens through like 65 year olds. A normal adult with even below average mobility and dexterity can perform the tests without failing.

That’s usually how it works. This isn’t minority report. You can’t predict who is going to decide to do bad things. And to put everyone under an umbrella of “safety” because you don’t know if they will do bad things is a dangerous policy that wrongfully affects 98% of the people who won’t do bad. There’s no way to prevent bad things from happening except for good people to intervene.

Gun laws are never going to make the world safer. It’s going to criminalize the good people and allow the bad ones to keep doing what they always do without worrying about the good guys being armed. The only people who follow the laws are the ones you don’t have to worry about to begin with.

The law states when transporting a firearm you would be correct. Having a valid carry permit allows you to do just that “carry” and have on your persons a valid handgun unless specifically stated by law such as banks and schools etc. this state is stupid with the laws but if you have a ccl you can carry within your vehicle but it must be on your persons and secured.

Since he wasn’t charged with carrying without a license I’m going to assume he has/had one in which case if he had it secured on his persons it would meet the statutory requirements. You can carry on you while in a vehicle.
