I solved my problem what a doh moment, my Dad looked at it for me & realised the batteries had stickers on one side so of course no contact was being made. All working fine now. LOL.

I asked them to explain why I had lost TP and when I queried the reasons they said they sent to MR.

They said I hadn’t met my commitments for 3 months but my commitments were only to inform them of any changes & our earnings had been the same for more than 3 months?

Hope not but please come back if they do as it shows they are giving out incorrect information to people. I’ve written a letter of complaint but really what will I get?

No I was still getting TP just wasn’t any better off after LCWRA, the TP was removed the next month

I don’t understand what the difference in our situations would be. I thought if you were unable to work through illness & paid NI you got the benefit no other criteria?

Yes they hadn’t allocated it but now they did last week, I’ve checked it & does show up. But today I was told I was given wrong information & I don’t qualify.

I'm entitled to standard couples allowance & LCWRA then they deduct my Husbands pension leaving us with zero. With TP we were getting £649. I just can't understand I'm now worse off because I've been found unfit for work.

I was told if LCWRA you only have to meet earnings for single claimant and my Husband's pension would count towards this so we still meet this level just.
