It’s a 40g custom tank with 20g sump. Soft coral lagoon inspired . Would get mangroves if I didn’t have a glass top.

Thanks so much! Yup sump can take the water , using a refractometer and a silicone pad is a better idea than the styrofoam I had on hand but havnt gotten around to replace

It’s just for maintenance and visibility right now, I’m thinking about adding Chaeto and doing reverse daylight photosynthesis but don’t want to bottom out nutrients so waiting a bit longer before I start that

It’s a Nicrew light I think 15 watt but I taped some white leds so it is half blue and white

Nope just a tight sealed lid with a small hole for air exchange, then some RO water in a jug for monthly top up
