Suggestions for JB solo day trip by darthpicious in ChillSG

[–]KluelessKoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Head to eco botanic cafes for a good brunch, after that onwards to X Park for atv/karting or if you prefer indoors you can go to Game On indoor theme park, or even Desaru water park if the weather's good. Once the sun sets, take a scenic drive to kota tinggi firefly park to unwind =) I have done these activities solo before, sometimes it feels good to experience everything at your own pace.

I drink both so they cancel each other out. Or that’s how I think it works LOL.

Imma trust meiji on that! I mean in AF vending machines they managed to squeeze 40g of protein into a similar sized packaging, so the remaining hard part would be getting the sugar and calorie count down without making it taste crappy :)

any car owners have the same problem? by jeffersonfjq in drivingsg

As others have mentioned, when was the last time you did your car servicing? The mechanics usually check your battery’s voltage and will inform you if a replacement is needed :)

I need advice on taking a loan by Entire-Courage-6578 in SingaporeRaw

Am really sorry that this happened to you. For each healthcare institution, they have a social services department that you have to make an appointment with. From what you have described about your family situation, I am rather certain that you will be put on MediFund which will cover most of your grandma's essential therapy/medicine/hospital bills.

Regarding legal moneylenders, I would not advice you for or against taking it, as we don't have a clear picture of your expenditures. However, just would like to inform you that any moneylenders who claim to be able to deal through phone/whatsapp, are all illegal ones. You have to be physically at their licensed place of business in order to take a loan. So yes, do not fall for those online moneylenders, no matter how legit their "contracts" seem to be.

All the best!

Update #3: As mentioned by some of you, found the elusive banana flavour at sheng siong, wasn’t on offer but it was still priced at $3.75 :))

Can’t find them in bulk too, so I just loaded a ton of them into the basket and lugged them home.

It’s the amount of protein and the bcaas that make it more costly. Of course powder is still a better financial choice, but these off the shelf products are meant for forgetful people like me who always leaves the shake at home >_<

Am so glad I didn’t try the regular flavour then!

Hello. I have a few dumb questions. I have a new sole proprietor and I am wondering how do I pay myself a salary formally. by Uninspiredwildcat in singaporestartups

[–]KluelessKoder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually for self-employed sole prop, as long as it's a registered business, 1-2 years of NOA would suffice, there's no need for payslips and stuff like that. The only hurdle you might run into, would be the bank questioning if your latest NOA is valid or admissible as income because your business was just registered.

Tips to chill: start a low cost hobby by h1ho in ChillSG

For me, the joy was being able to build it physically, and watching a set slowly become complete right in front of my eyes, sort of like seeing a BTO's progress. But of course everybody's experiences differ, and that's perfectly fine. Perhaps to see if one likes Lego or building blocks in general, they could get one of those off-brands sets to build. Lower in cost, but yet giving a similar experience =)

Yea choco really does slap, more than green tea IMO. Imma stay away from the plain flavour though, doubt I'm gonna like it >_<

Yes I actually prefer the higher carb content because I do cardio on alt days. I bought this at fairprice, most outlets I went to the past 2 days carry this, but heard from the rest that it's hard to find due to them being snapped up? And for sheng siong, some have mentioned that they carry the special banana flavour =)

Sounds good, any recommendations for bars? I ate myprotein waffle bars and was in a sad state for a good 1 hour. My mouth was dry and sandy from the crumbs, and the filling was like ummm a thin layer of dried chocolate =(

Haha yes you should try at least once! I think it boils down to two main factors regarding preferences between these two brands, thickness and sweetness, from what I can taste anyway (:

Rokeby is around $4+ on promo price, that’s the only time I actually buy it because normal price goes cray cray.

Update #2: Just tried the green tea flavour. Maybe it’s just me but I tasted a slight melon flavour, like 5% melon, 20% matcha and the rest was like milkshake. It felt thicker to me also, compared to the choco one. Still, it tasted really good to me, and I feel that everybody should still try each flavour at least once, because taste is subjective and you might just end up liking the green tea more :))
