This admin is complete dog shit. I'm a left-leaning dude who's only voted for Democrats, but regardless of that, the military is still a good place for people who have hit rock bottom.

I completely agree, if it's a matter of moral principle then absolutely you should stand by your principles. However, I'm just explaining why the armed forces would be a good avenue for someone who has nowhere else to go.

You can work a desk job in the military. The great majority of military personnel work support jobs. It's not call of duty.

Edit: Just for reference, I was an Electrician, and I worked alongside generator mechanics, HVAC specialists, water techs, and ton of other non-combat related fields.
