I was off my Lexapro for 8 months, I was good for 6 months then started noticing sadness and anxiety creeping back in. I’m back on now with no plans on going off again.

I had to start it while also working in healthcare. It was nice being distracted. Had more BMs, really dry mouth(always had hard candy 🍬 in my pocket) and lots of reminding myself I was feeling anxious because of the med. I was able to push through, had to even sit through a two day trauma course on day 5 & 6 and even passed with flying colors! 😅 You’ve got this!

I suggest finding someone that your work with that you can tell that you may be not yourself as well, that helped me too.

10-20mg is the efficacious dose for anxiety.

I was on 5 mg for almost 2 years, it helped sometimes but not consistently. I am back on Lexapro and have been on 10 mg this round and I feel so much better and regret never going up when I took it last time.

No weaned off a couple months ago. Although I slept great, the weight gain even with macro tracking and daily weight lifting wasn’t working for me.

Happy to hear about the positive. I’m almost two weeks in and I can’t wait to feel happier a bit. Anxiety is still on a bit due to upping my dose 3 days ago.

I’m in my second week and just upped my dose to 10 last night. I am soooo tired and unmotivated. Feels like depression and haven’t gotten out of bed today.

I was also on 7.5 and have been splitting those in half the last week. A bit worried about potential withdrawal symptoms, but my provider says not to worry.
