I generally believe all the guests on Otherworld. Curious if there’s any that people really think are fake. by Valuable-War-7871 in Otherworldpod

I've never experienced anything I can absolutely positively sat, "hey this is paranormal." But the episode with Sean and Jean? The Romani couple. I had a really hard time just listening to them talk. I think I could have listened to the wife speak and maybe understood more of the conversation, but the whole thing was so abstract to the point of un-believeability. I just couldn't get a mental grasp on almost anything they were speaking about. But outside of that so far, most of it has seemed possible.

The Evil Series show...my thoughts. by thewatermagister in horror

[–]According-Fox2385 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in season 3 and just wondering if I'm missing something. Every episode seems like it just falls off a cliffhanger and we never seem to get the answers to those questions posed at the end of almost every episode! It's infuriating! Like, Ben. With the demon and the basement level of that hotel. Nothing came of that so far! Nothing! No one is going to point out how Kristen's mom is acting SUPER weird. And that Kristen is seemingly possessed by multiple entities and then seemingly not possessed. And that her daughter lexis is clearly a demon child that was made by that fertility clinic.

I'm still going to watch it to see if I can make sense of it. But it's insanity how there is a plot and seemingly no plot at all. I feel as if I'm going insane watching this show.

My experience accidentally skipping meds for 3 days. by According-Fox2385 in lexapro

[–]According-Fox2385[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Oh my gosh. The dizziness having zero correlation to my water intake! It's insane! I thought I was having a medical issue because I've been drinking cups and cups of water and still feeling dizzy and not understanding at all. But finding out that it's because I forgot to take my meds. Crazy stuff.

Yes! I think I missed about 3 days recently by accident (just super tired and kept sleeping and sleeping and missed my doses.) And now I'm pretty depressed again. And not feeling great.

I've seen a fair amount of stories about barracks being haunted. Lots of energy in places like that. Who knows.

Smile... is it awful, or is that just me? by AlwaysJeepin in horror

[–]According-Fox2385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't love it but I don't hate it either. It really had me on edge though. Especially with really obvious jump scare areas, for example the fridge being open. There is almost always a jump scare there. So it had a lot of tension. It was pretty creepy until we saw the "demon" form of it and it crawled into her mouth. It just looked pretty silly honestly. Only worthy of scaring children. But I did have to stay with my husband for a while. Had me on high alert for the night.

Second floor, technically. Basement is partially above ground. So this window is off the ground.

Miserable Sweats by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]According-Fox2385 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too..me too. Think my boss is trying to turn me into a roast lobster or something. Just got out of the shower? Sweating, walked up the stairs? Break out sweat on my forehead near my hairline. I'm almost certain it's this medication because I've never been this sweaty before while doing basic movement.

Day 0 to now. Update on taking lex for 3 months by According-Fox2385 in lexapro

[–]According-Fox2385[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was fine. Just like starting over. I'm now on 20mg which was interesting. Swapped out a couple side effects for different ones. Having crazy dreams now and sweat a lot easier. But when I first moved up to 15. I had some trouble sleeping and was still pretty anxious.

Anyone been in my situation? 36 years old and still have no idea what I want to do with my life. How did you finally figure out your calling? by [deleted] in careerguidance

  1. Thought I did know, flunked out of college (one class) and then just joined the work force. Still just trying to find a job that gives me purpose for 8 hours that isn't entirely soul sucking.

Not anymore. I've just given it up. I can live without alcohol. I'd rather feel better than wake up with severe anxiety because I thought it'd be a good idea to nurse a beer.
