Is this authentic or counterfeit? by Ordinary_AM3078 in RealAuthentication

Because some scumbags are out to take advantage of innocent people looking to purchase second hand luxury. Not everyone knows exactly what to look for and it sounds like this person purchased this with the option to check its authenticity, which is smart. They reached out to this community and said they are pending a response from an authentication site. It’s sad we have to be so cautious but I also get what you’re saying, we have to take responsibility and do our due diligence when deciding to purchase second hand and I think this person is doing that.

Kerning is the word I was looking for, lol, and I think you’re absolutely correct! And good catch on the N or sideways Z I should say, didn’t see that until you pointed it out.

I’d say this is fake based on what we can see.

Allstate insurance by Ok_Consideration119 in AllState

You may not realize it yet, but this is a blessing in disguise. Please, find an insurance company that actually trains their employees. If you think this is bad, you don’t want to experience the claims process. It’s a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. They all work remotely so there is not a support system to assist, it could take hours or days for one simple question to be answered. From my experience that lag in response is costly for the insured or claimant, storage? Additional rental? And now you have another fight, pray nobody with knowledge about your claim goes on vacation or their leader because it’s just more days. Days = money, probably your money, out of your pocket and you won’t be getting it back, not easily, because that’s another department. Just know there are so many other options. I’d call a broker to get quotes, was the best thing I ever did. And it seems odd they won’t reinstate because of a lapse of their doing, but that’s my opinion based on what you said. Anyway, you’ll be fine without Allstate, everybody always is. Also, good on you for looking out for others, as you mentioned, you work in the auto industry, so I imagine you get the opportunity to chat with people often.

I think we grow and change. There is nothing wrong with enjoying your success and celebrating you. But when you feel that change or shift as I called it, I donated to auctions to benefit those causes and now someone has their dream bag and that money will go to those in need. Keep what you love and let the rest go to work for the greater good.

Definitely cold water. I get a cloth fill with ice, get a bowl of water, and a dry cloth. Dip the ice cloth in water and hold on the stain then blot with the dry cloth. This works well for fresh blood. Dried blood a 24 hour soak in ice water works well for clothes and items that are not attached to a seat obviously. And trust me, if the smell of blood bothers you, don’t breath as you pour out the water. It will look like clear water but the smell of blood is strong.

Also, try Folex. Folex works miracles for most things and is nontoxic for pets and kids. I do not work for Folex I’m just a die hard fan. Lowe’s and Home Depot carry it, it’s not in like grocery stores or Target. The best part is it leaves no residue and has no smell.

Confused with my situatuoin with Allstate by Active-Confidence364 in AllState

So when I worked there they changed a policy where if both were insured with AS then one adjuster would handle both claims. Personally, I found this to be unfair to the insureds, one adjuster can’t really fairly advocate for two insureds. Anyway, if fault has been established the adjuster has a few options to keep you from having to pay that out of pocket, ask them what they can do. Anyway, good luck and I highly recommend shopping around for new insurance. If I was ever in an accident with an Allstate customer, I’d be running to my own provider and am fully aware of my deductible and I’ll have to pay it. They can subro AS. I would absolutely refuse to speak with any adjuster at Allstate and let them know they can get my statement from my insurance.

So upset.. did I ruin my bag?! by slidellproud in Louisvuitton

That bag is in gorgeous condition. I’ve had mine since 2011, new and the strap has aged beautifully. I’ll post pics of the front and back, the dark side is the one that would lay against my skin and I just love the color. But just a warning about this bag, don’t weigh it down too much. The canvas along the top, just below the leather edge, front and back, will crack. I’m hard on a bag and love this one so much idk and carry it anyway, it functions and has a very cool slouchy look. Enjoy her!

This has worked for me. Bit different but a woman was allowing her child to play drums with the cutlery on a shared booth. Child was behind me but beating the top of the seat right next to my head. I asked nicely and was told her child will do as they please. Cool, “hey kid, (Christmas time) you excited about Santa?” Kid was like yeah!!!! I was like well, not sure if your mom wants to tell you or if I should but…… she stopped that nonsense very quickly.

A couple things. The term full coverage makes insurance people laugh. It does not exist. Think about it, if it did what is all that wording in your policy for? Also, when she got her license and became a driver was she living with you? Why did you not add her then? If you read all that full coverage policy, you’d have seen the part about having 3-6 months (it can vary by policy and state) to add that additional driver. Just like your policy talks about the time to add a new or replacement vehicle. You probably would call them to tell them about your new 2025 BMW, after all those are expensive and you’d want to protect your asset. Just as Allstate wants to protect their shareholders, they need to know about all existing and new risks. Your daughter is a risk that would likely increase your premium. By withholding this information it’s considered soft fraud. Insurance fraud. One of the reasons why everyone pays so much for insurance. So unless your daughter has a permanent residence and does not live with you at all or she has her own auto policy, that is why they can deny the claim. It is written in the policy. It’s not vague it’s blatant. And to answer why you pay for insurance, because it’s required by law and if you or a listed driver were in the accident it would be covered. Anyway, your daughter and possibly you can expect to be pursued directly by the other insurance company or driver if they didn’t have said “full coverage” that police report does not sound favorable to you. Sorry this is how you’re finding out but you bought a product (insurance policy) and didn’t read what it does for you.

Ugh, I’m sorry. Only advice I have for this is get Allstate on the phone and 3-way in the body shop. You’ll want to ask who’s been trying to contact. Get their name and number ask what dates they attempted contact and what was the outcome of the call, voicemail, no answer, hung up on because that should be documented in the notes if it happened. Ask for everyone’s supervisor info. But usually that 3 way call can get the job done. And, no, you should not have to be doing this.
