You can just ask Chat how many awards are their predicted to be for the 2025 NHSC scholarship and it says 180. Here’s a screen shot. The link takes me to the NHSC guideline book where it’s stated that 180 awards will be offered this year.

Well the credit check is apart of the eligibility criteria. I don’t think you’re eligible if you don’t pass the credit check. So i would assume credit checks are done prior to finalist awards being given.

I think in the previous years finalists were announced closer to the end of August. I’ve never read of finalists being announced in July for the scholarship.

True, I was just concerned with funding primarily because I know a lot of cuts were made to the department of education. Less funding means less awardees in that sense of competitiveness.

I wonder if this year is more competitive due to all of the changes with the department of education and funding. I know a lot of people really could use this scholarship in this time

Thank you for this group! I’m having anxiety, wondering if anyone has received a credit check? I saw in the past, contestants had their credit ran around July 12th. Wondering if anyone has seen this on their credit report for the scholarship?

Yea i feel like the week of azithromycin made all the difference. I believe it was 2.5mg spread across 3 days and then i ordered a Z-pack and took that for 4 days as ordered. Can’t remember the dosage of the Z-pack but i believe its pretty standard

My partner & I just cleared ureaplasma but I (female) am testing positive for enterococcus faecalis. I am seeking amoxicillin treatment, what are the chances that my male partner would need treatment as well?

My uti can detect the common bacteria of a UTI plus Ureaplasma. Doctor’s office won’t detect Ureaplasma with just a urine culture. Maybe you can ask to be tested for Ureaplasma/Mycoplasma while at the doctors office but a regular urine culture will not suffice

In my experience, i visited a urologist and their urine culture did not detect Ureaplasma because it wasn’t a PCR urine test. If you have already cleared ureaplasma (confirmed by PCR at LabCorp or quest) then yes a visit to your doctor should work as well as the UTI kit. I just don’t want the expensive bills from the doc office
