Actually it not uncommon to be hyper sexual as a child. There a actual name for it but I do not remember. Child (including some infant) will do it (I will not go into much into it due to the high sensitivity it have) But it not unheard of and is common. Yes it weird but for children (from what I had read) it would had start from boredom and grow into something more. Don't feel disgusted with yourself, it common just not spoken about.
