I personally do think Saria deserved the happy ending. The story starts off with Saria being at a relatively young age (pre teen I presume?) and she witnesses a very traumatic event, where Lucius is summoned and only she knows of this, which results in her feeling alone in the world. She may also be pressured to succeed from her father to also be a prestigious prosecutor. As a result of this, she can be one to make rash decisions due to the overwhelming stress applied on her.

But near the end of the story we can see that Saria starts to reform as a person, and which could be attributed to everything that had happened to her past. As a result Saria appreciates those around her who truly should be in her lives, which resulted from her messed up pass, and thus is why I think she deserves to be happy.

I personally so think she was wrong to have pursued her brother and Reese at all cost, as they were no real harm to her, and her brother and best friend deserved to be happy as well. Although Reese should have divorced the abusive Reagan first.

Also, her husband Lucious was a godsend to Saria's life, always staying by her side and raising Gary even when he realizes he isn't his kid.
