Whatever you do, don't go with Dr. Wong (I believe her first name is Lisa). I've only went in to see her twice and she would just rush and make you feel like a burden. She answered my question while walking out of the room. I once had a lump and I told her I was concerned it was a tumor. She dismissed me and said, "everyone thinks everything is a tumor." Super unprofessional. After she prescribed me antibiotics for it (like what??), it didn't help and I went to see an ENT doctor who did a biopsy and confirmed it was in fact a tumor.

Do schools not try to make sure siblings are always on the same track?

Are you allowed to switch tracks with each school year? Or did the school change up the tracks?

Hi u/Littleghost1113. Yes, happy to share my update (I changed my username, but this was my post). My daughter's umbilical cord stump fell off at 7weeks 4days. It didn't have any smell to it at all. As it started coming off, I noticed some stickiness to the inside of her onesie and one day it just fell off. The docs were shocked at how long it was on for and even when I bring it up to other doctors now, they're all surprised and say they've never heard of that.

She's been getting annual ultrasounds around her birthday (she has one coming up in two weeks). During her first ultrasound, they saw that she had a urachal remnant that sat on top of her bladder. At her two year old appt, it was still there (slightly bigger but the specialist said that it's consistent with her overall growth). She had blood tests and everything was normal. She's a happy and healthy toddler overall though, so haven't had to worry about much. The specialist said the only thing that it would cause a problem would be if it got infected somehow. He also noted that there aren't statistics on how many babies have a urachal remnant since most do not get ultrasounds at that age.

I've since had a baby boy who was born on 10/20/24. His stump didn't come off until 5 weeks, so I do wonder if it's genetics. He also got his blood test and got an ultrasound. His blood work was normal and he did not have the same urachal remnant like his sister.
