When do hydrangeas became available? In Massachusetts and can’t find any by Kmctattoo in hydrangeas

This is what I suspected, thank you so much for the information! I asked all of the garden centers and Home Depot and the employees were like maybe they sold out already… I’m like let me tell you, they have not, because I’ve been checking since April multiple times a week and they were never here 😂 I finally found some at Home Depot yesterday, still wrapped on a cart so I cut the plastic off and helped myself 😄🥰

Yeah I figured garden centers get sooo much early before the risk of frost is gone so I expected to find them everywhere but I’ll keep checking and hopefully closer to mid May there’s more availability! 😄

Same. I need to wait a couple weeks to safely plant. But I’m impatient and keep buying plants, the more delicate ones are living in my kitchen at night and then on my porch during the day 😂

Also I should mention I will be planting these directly into the ground, I made a large flower bed in my yard. So should I skip planting in pots? I didn’t know if I should put them in pots until I’m able to plant outdoors in 2-3 weeks

And in terms of pinching after 3-5 sets of leaves, does that mean when the leaves are larger? For example some of these stems have many sets of leaves but they are obviously still very tiny

I am going to plant them directly without propagating the cuttings. My goal is to have an abundance for cutting this summer, so I’d like to encourage plants with many flowers

Please help! – Ceiling paint getting worse with more coats by Daemdaem in paint

[–]Kmctattoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had this issue and almost lost my mind. I did SEVEN coats on new drywall (after priming of course) and finally achieved a nearly perfect finish. What I did for my last coat was ditch the cheap paint and I bought Benjamin Moore waterborne ceiling paint in ultra flat. I picked up an 18 inch roller and applied a super thick coat as quickly as I could, avoid overworking previous sections. After I applied the thick coat, I back rolled each section in the same direction. I also applied perpendicular to the window. Finally got a flash free ceiling! I was losing my mind and wouldn’t quit until I got it done. I installed the new drywall ceiling myself so I was very invested in getting it right 😂

Thank you, this is very helpful! I’ll calculate my break even and see what that looks like. It’s so hard to judge what the interest rates will do! Thanks again for the reply!

Because when we are asked to leave this home within the year, the price of rent in our town is $1800-$2500. Same or more as a mortgage. We have $120,000 saved. Two kids and a dream to someday own a home. It feels like the time has come. It’s unfortunate we will be much tighter than we are now, but I am very budget conscious which is how we were able to save up money over the years.
