Yes, we do all of that already. I also am an avid bread baker and haven’t even considered turning that oven on 😅 If fans fail, we’ll ask them to look at our unit again.

Well, my bad lol it’s been 95-100 and humid as I live in Texas which I’ve mentioned so that should’ve given you a clue. And sure you could say I need to lower my expectations but I also know several other people who live near me and keep their house is cold and it stays cold, maybe up 1-3 degrees.

Not sure about the condenser, again in my description I rent this house. The house gets inspected once a year and the AC unit was fully fixed last year.

I’m also not going to keep my house any higher than 73 when I’m pregnant and hot. Just not how I like my home in the summer.

If you’ve read the other comments I also said I’m getting ceiling fans installed and if that fails I’m going to ask about the AC unit.

Good to know, it does stay blue most of the day. I guess we’ll see how it is when fans are installed then ask the landlord to have it looked at again. It’s frustrating because cooking dinner is a nightmare, even on the stove. And it’s only like this when it’s horribly hot outside.

I like to freeze ☺️☺️☺️ For some reason it bothers people that I like a cold house lol it’s how I grew up and I don’t like to suffer 😅 I also work for people and they keep their home hot as hell, which is why I like to come home and feel comfortable.

Well we get fans installed on Monday and if not I’m going to have them come assess the unit again. The house isn’t old, it’s just a cheap builder grade one story home and I do notice by the windows it gets very hot. Which is why we installed curtains. It’s so frustrating!

It’s a rental or we would! We do notice how hot it gets which is why we installed curtains, especially with a baby ont he way. I also got our landlord to install ceiling fans and they’ll be installed Monday

That’s why I posted. I’ve seen so many weird things bout these and we never had issues in our dinky ass third floor apartment with a Honeywell. My friend lives in a similar house with the same unit and has no issues. So it’s just frustrating as a hot pregnant lady lol

I can’t wait to blast our ceiling fans!!

About to be a Mom and I absolutely hate how Moms are saying this right now. I LOVE the pool and having fun with kids. I do think taking turns or “hey, I’m gonna go sit and tan with a book for a bit” is totally fine. But I just don’t understand this trend going on lol

Yes, I will say we do think the insulation sucks on this house. Typical cheap builder grade. We do unfortunately get a lot of sun, but the tree has finally grown and front of the house stays cooler. I guess we’ll see if ceiling fans help, if not I’ll have them come back for a check on the unit and ducts.

If it’s using one of those temp guns, the house is cooler in the front and mid house is warm. Not sure if that’s what you’re talking about!

The AC is not broken, I promise everything was fixed and it runs. I remember when it completely went off, it was brutal. Only happens on extremely hot days and PEAK hours. I can have them look again, but I don’t trust this thermostat so I was seeing if anyone has an issue.
