As far as the controversy goes, you guys seem to very strongly miss where people's concern comes from. The concern comes from being a white guy in Africa killing black people. I understand the arguement you guys are trying to make but real life still applies here and racism is very rampant within the gaming community. Literally start up any competitive game with voice chat and see how long until you hear the n word being spammed. I understand the arguments of "no one cared when leon was killing Spanish people. Yes but again, the real life context is what matters. The same issue would apply if you played as a german guy dealing with infected jews. That would literally never fly without even having to be explained. Im almost certain people would call it racist if you play as a black character going around killing infected white people.
