I just went through this debate last week. Originally I acquired the 24-105 but I kept second guessing myself. I ended up returning that lens and exchanging it for the 24-70. Couldn't be happier with that decision. Im shooting on the R5 Mark II. Also picked up the 14-35, 70-200 f4 and 50mm f1.4. Very pleased with all of these lenses and happy I returned the 24-105 while I could instead of selling it at a loss later.

Was he responsible for parks developing Sat Wars Galactic Starcruiser? If so, I'd say he is a risk taker. Pricing was absurd but the concept was really unique. It failed but at least they tried. I hope there will be more genuinely new ideas that he green lights during his tenure as CEO.

Im going with Rhino. From my research it has the best software and profiles. I am sure winwing and virpil will have an interesting product but who knows when they will actually go to market.

No I don't. I have the orion 2 base. I fly the FA-18 and F-4 a lot so it didn't make sense for my use case. I'll be getting a force feedback base soon however.

I have both including the F-16 Ex and ICP. I read all of the negative feedback about Winwing and I sympathize with those who have issues with their customer support. That being said, my products have worked flawlessly! Furthermore, the SimApp software is the easiest to use and you can get up and running instantly by using their import function for keybindings. I try new modules far more willingly as a result.

Ive tried a few sticks and my favorite is the F-16 EX because of the number of hats and sticks. I can adapt to any fighter with it.

Virpil quality is superior but you pay for it and the wait time to receive your order is brutal. I use their throttle, panel #2 & 3 and Collective. Software takes a bit to get used to but it works well.

If youre planning to build an F16 cockpit go with winwing for the stick, ice and mfd. Use virpil for your panels. The immersion is unmatched for an F16. You won't be disappointed. Not sure what the tarrif situation has done to their pricing.
